We recently connected with Kaitlynd Satterfield and have shared our conversation below.
Kaitlynd, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What’s been the most meaningful project you’ve worked on?
My name is Kaitlynd and I am a lifestyle & motivation content creator that focuses on living and making it memorable. My goal is to create a space for individuals seeking community, encouragement, and inspiration. A place where we feel welcomed and inspired! I want to help others live a life with intention where goals are created, progress is made, and dreams are achieved. Living and making it memorable is all about implementing habits that allow space for positivity, spiritual growth, and mental clarity. I love learning about new ways to increase my overall well-being, whether that be through new routines, reflection, or implementing new productivity methods. I try to feature posts that align with my message about living memorably. My blog posts and interactions on social are my real-life, genuine responses to experimenting with different practices or trying out new things.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

I first got into blogging during my last semester of graduate school. In the midst of everything going on at the time; COVID-19, finishing my Master’s degree, packing up and moving back home in a matter of two days, and trying to discover who I am and what I’m meant to do… I really needed to just stop and reflect. In doing so, I felt called to start a blog and start being more vulnerable on social media. In being more open and sharing productivity hacks, planners, and other motivational findings, I found myself connecting with people on a deeper level. I had no idea that what I was sharing had an actual impact nor was it inspiring others to improve their life and live more intentionally.
I believe that it is too easy to live life and let it pass you by… to the point where you get to the end of your week or month and can only see the past few days or weeks as a blur. I’ve never felt comfortable feeling like I was just letting life happen. I began to make it a mission to discover ways to prevent that and encouraged others to do the same.
Unfortunately, my biggest struggle is being my own cheerleader. Being a content creator and sharing your life can be super scary and I often let it get to me. I’m really excited now because I’m going through the process of rebranding and working on a brand new project that I think will be well-received. As I work to develop it, the more excited I get to share it with my community and on social media. The launch of my project will happen towards the end of this year and again, I couldn’t be more excited! It is my preferred way to help encourage and inspire others to live and make it memorable.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
My main mission is to equip others with the tools to live a life with intention where goals are created, progress is made, and dreams are achieved. At its core, Live + Make It Memorable focuses on helping others implement habits that allow space for productivity, mental clarity, and spiritual growth. My goal is to create space for individuals seeking community, encouragement, and inspiration.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
I believe the most rewarding aspect of being a creative is the opportunity to connect with individuals outside of your immediate community! Regardless of if you ever to get speak to those who come across your content and work in person, you can communicate with them via social platforms. Forming new virtual communities has definitely been a highlight of this journey! I’ve made so many new friends and have been able to participate in more conversations than I ever would have!
