We recently connected with Kaileen Elise and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Kaileen Elise, thanks for joining us today. What do you think it takes to be successful?
First, you have to define “success” for yourself. Too often, people work towards an idea of success that was given to them by their parents, teachers, culture, or society. The problem with this is that even if you do become successful, you might be left feeling unfulfilled or dissatisfied.
It can take a lot of deep work and soul searching to decide what success means to you. You might have to throw out old ideas and things you thought you always wanted. Once you do, you can make choices and decisions that are in alignment with your truest version of success.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
Hi, I’m Kaileen Elise! (My first name is pronounced kay-lean.) I am the founder of the Celebrate Cultivate Online Wellness Studio. I’m also a Certified Intuition Coach and host of the Celebrate Cultivate Podcast.
I help mothers and entrepreneurs listen to their intuition, trust their inner wisdom, and act with inspiration.
After college, I pursued a career in sales that led to working for a handful of startups in recruiting and HR. But growing up, my dream was to be a stay-at-home mom, so I stopped working a few months before my first child was born.
When my second baby was about 6-months old, I had a deep realization that I wanted to build my own business. I loved my children (of course!), but I craved a creative outlet and interaction with other adults. This came as a shock to me (and my husband), but we adjusted our plans and made space for me to build the company I have today.
Before becoming an intuition coach, my career felt like a series of steps from one thing to the next. After each promotion or job change, I found myself feeling dissatisfied and craving more. Now when I get to work, I have a sense of excitement and joy. I love helping women learn how to trust themselves and act in alignment with intuition.
Since launching my business in 2020, I’ve facilitated nearly one-hundred intuition sessions with clients from all over the country. These sessions feel a lot like a guided meditation. After, my clients tell me they feel light, energized, and have a renewed sense of clarity.
Unlike other forms of coaching, I’m not promoting a set of ideals and best practices. Instead, my intention is to help my client turn inward with reassurance and gentle guidance. I believe in your intuition and I’m here to help you believe in it too!
My clients usually start working with me for one of two reasons. Some are in the midst of a personal challenge or crisis. They want help getting back to trusting themselves and their instincts. They know there’s more to self-care than pedicures. Working with me is one way they’re supporting themselves.
The other clients have reached a certain stage of life. They are mothers who have climbed the corporate ladder or are running their own businesses. On the outside, things are pretty good. But inside, there is part of them that’s wondering, “What’s next? Is this it? What do I do now?”
One of my services is a year-long coaching membership called The Season Sessions. I created it after seeing how connecting with your intuition isn’t a one-time action. True transformation comes when you make it a practice that’s part of your everyday life.
The Season Sessions Membership includes quarterly private intuition sessions, along with a suite of supportive resources to develop and encourage your intuitive connection.
Inside the membership, there are women, mothers, entrepreneurs, and corporate leaders. They are each cultivating a deeper connection to intuition, which is yielding incredible results:
• Getting job interviews without trying
• Finding peace in difficult family situations
• Taking a new approach to relationships
• Navigating children’s tantrums without panic and anxiety
• Cultivating deep peace within a traumatic time
• Buying a new home with ease and joy (on her 10-year wedding anniversary!)
• Knowing all is well even when things are tricky
I also have a weekly podcast called Celebrate Cultivate, where I share conversations about intuition, intention, and inspiration.
After being an avid podcast listener for years, my aim is to be a source of deep breaths and ideas for appreciating the magic in everyday life. Listeners say I have a grounded, yet light approach. My calming energy motivates them to try new ideas without the hype or anxiety of other podcasts in the self-improvement space.
If you’re new to listening to your intuition, or if you want to deepen your connection, check out my free guide — 21 Days to Intuition. When you sign up at kaileenelise.com, you receive daily prompts and simple practices for three weeks.
I also host group coaching experiences to help women tune into their inner wisdom and connect with community. Every spring I host Magical May and this fall, we’re introducing a new retreat called Autumn Abundance. Stay tuned for more info!
At my core, I believe coaching and personal growth can feel good. Your life is full already, so my aim is to help you find ease, flow, alignment, and joy as you grow.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
I started my blog in 2009 as a creative break from my day job. Back then, I loved Twitter and jumped onto Instagram when the app first launched. On my blog, I wrote about what inspired me and encouraged my readers to seek inspiration in their own lives.
My #1 piece of advice for anyone just starting to build their social media presence is to listen to your intuition. You can find tutorials and step-by-step instructions for everything these days, but no one else can do what you can. Find the most authentic way for you to connect with your community and spend more time there.
Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
“The harder I work, the more successful I will become.”
This was instilled within me at a young age. I was a competitive swimmer, ranked in the nation, and went on to swim in college. My dream was to become an Olympian, so my parents and coaches all told me that the harder I worked, the more successful I would become.
Here’s what I know now that I wish I knew then — being in the moment and trusting myself is worth way more than brute force. Working harder and harder and harder doesn’t leave room for magic, wonder, and serendipity.
This translates to business, relationships, and everything else in life. When I believed that “the harder I work, the more successful I will become,” everything was on my shoulders. As I started to unlearn that, I found less pressure, hustle, and anguish, and more ease, delight, and joy.
