We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful K-VICTORIA. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with K-VICTORIA below.
Alright, K-VICTORIA thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
My mission is basically to keep it organic. Its really not to sell an idea, but provide a vision into who I really am, through creative art. I think preserving my authenticity is the true goal and battle, often times when I feel trends, and societal norms constantly inspire people to group and conform, I have to be mindful of who I really am, what I really want, and what inspires me.
My mission is also to always enjoy life, to abide in gratitude, and to focus on what’s important, which is truly living present in every moment, while valuing my personal journey. It’s also about appreciating the family, friends, and people that I’m growing and developing with along the way.
I really strive to see the best in myself and others, and to always value the “inner-work,” which is the mental, physical, and the emotional health, rather than just the outer appearance. I enjoy myself more that way, and it permeates into my attitude, my creativity, my overall health and my influence. That is so important to me.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
K-VICTORIA is a creativity brand, developing music, acting, and fashion. I am a catalyst for defining your own path, by your own standards.
K-VICTORIA is short for Kmisha-Victoria, which is my first name. K-VICTORIA is like the bold “super hero” version of me that comes out in my creativity.
In a world so concerned with the expectations of others, I make a clarification, that faith, dedication, and perseverance makes me able to stay grounded, and forge my own path.
My music is R&B Pop, with eclectic influences. I have always been very versatile musically, expressing several different genres in my craft. My brand is always seeking to stretch, combine music styles, and discover creative new ways to speak on relatable topics.
When I placed in the semi-finals of the Miss World competition, and won the title of ‘Miss World Talent,’ by singing Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You” it changed me forever. That’s when I first tangibly realized I had the potential to be a world class entertainer, and achieve success on an international level.
I’ve performed at the Apollo Theatre in New York twice, and received a Bachelor’s Degree for Music Business Management at The Berklee College of Music.
I’ve opened up for artists such as Wyclef Jean, Maxi Priest, Lady Saw, and Gyptian. My single ‘Apology’ was selected by VEVO to be on their official R&B Playlist with 4 other artists: Ciara, Ravaughn, The Weekend, and Chris Brown.
My single “Feel The Love” Retired at #1 on Tempo Networks’ Cross Caribbean Countdown.
I played the lead role in the film “Timeless: A Virgin Islands Love Story” that premiered on Amazon Prime Video in August of 2023 making history as the first credited movie shot and set in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
I also developed a culture merchandising (clothing & accessories) brand called “Mind.Life.Guap.” For more, visit IG: @mindlifeguap or www.iamkvictoria.com/shop.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
I am resilient with trusting the process. I know that there is a right time to seize an opportunity, so I embrace this because I’m committed to the journey.
For example, I was booked to perform at this event in Brooklyn, New York for New York Carnival week around Labor Day. My DJ and I were setting up to perform, and it was an outside venue. Right before my set, it began pouring rain. I have never seen it rain that hard at a show, I mean it was wet, everywhere, and it was mainly open space. I was thinking “Can I get electrocuted?” I remember looking at the audience from backstage and just saw multiple umbrellas going up. People were literally standing in the rain. Something came over me, like I knew it was a moment, and an opportunity to keep the show going. I asked for an umbrella, and they asked me if I was going on, and I said, “Yea, we’re going out!” I remember when they called my name, I walked out with an umbrella in one hand and a microphone in the other, and just stood center stage. I sang like I was singing the rain down and became fully in THAT moment. I looked in the crowd, and saw people just vibing, like swaying—umbrellas moving here and there, and that made it even more of an incredible moment! I felt like we were all connected.
The amazing thing was, after my performance, the rain paused. It was one of my surreal performances to this day.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
It’s fun! It’s inspiring. It can be a blessing. Art brings people together, it helps heal, and can motivate in a positive way, so the best part is being able to tap into that power that is not tangible, yet very real. Music, acting, and fashion are pretty much natural phenomenons and they are effortless for me. People can feel the energy that you place into things, so I allow that authentic, passionate energy out in a way that can be felt, and processed on the highest level of my ability.
