Hi Jyothsna , thanks for joining us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
At JoKitchen LLC, I understand that people here have left their homes and families for job opportunities, and often miss the flavors and comforts of their native land. That’s why my mission is to bring a taste of home to your plate, using fresh, healthy ingredients and traditional cooking methods to create authentic, home-style South Indian cuisine that will transport your taste buds back to the warmth and love of your homeland.”
I tried to capture the emotional connection people have with food from their homeland and emphasize the authenticity and warmth of cooking.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
After seven years as a data engineer at Tata Consultancy Services , I took a career break to care for my child. However, circumstances didn’t allow me to restart my career as planned. But, I believe God had a better plan in store for me. Since my teenage years, I’ve been passionate about cooking, learning from my mom’s delicious dishes and helping her in the kitchen daily. I’d even cook for my friends and at my early college days.
Serving food brings me joy, and my relatives and friends would bless me, saying I have some magic in my hands and I am Blessed by Lord Annapurna (the god of food) . I feel truly blessed and love presenting food in a way that brings happiness to others. This passion led me to start Jo Kitchen LLC in April 2023 and I’m excited to share my culinary creations with you.
At JoKitchen LLC, we proudly serve a diverse range of South Indian cuisine, from traditional authentic dishes to innovative fusion creations, blending timeless flavors with modern twists to cater to the evolving tastes of the contemporary palate.
I tried to convey to our customers that our kitchen offers a mix of classic and modern South Indian cuisine, adapting to changing tastes while staying true to its roots.

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
The majority of my orders come from word-of-mouth referrals, as customers rave about my dishes after savoring them. Additionally, my Instagram presence plays a crucial role, showcasing my culinary creations in a visually stunning way. I believe that food is first enjoyed with the eyes, so I make sure my pictures are irresistibly tempting! In fact, many clients have placed significant catering orders solely based on my Instagram reels and photos, trusting in my culinary expertise without hesitation. And, I’m proud to say, they’ve never been disappointed.

Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
The most effective way to grow my client base is to prioritize quality, consistency in taste, loyalty to my customers, and providing healthy options. I believe that customers should feel satisfied with what they pay for, and my goal is to exceed their expectations. Ultimately, I strive to create a culinary experience that triggers the release of happy hormones, leaving my customers feeling delighted and content after savoring my food.
