We were lucky to catch up with Justine Waddell recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Justine thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?
It all started back in late 2020 when I wanted to add some wall decorations for my room.
I started searching for idea’s and came across hoop wreaths. None were exactly what I want wanted so I told myself I can create my own. Didn’t seem to difficult to me.
From there, I purchased the materials needed for one. Once I put everything together, I sent photos to my friends and they instantly wanted ones of their own. It was different than what any of us had seen before. I thought to myself, ” Hey you can make a business out of this.” From there, I created a business Facebook and Instagram and went from there.
Justine , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

Our returning customers love our pieces and it shows in the many reviews we receive. This is what really has made us a success.
What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
The best source of new clients has to go to social media. Tik Tok and Instagram the most. People love to see how items are created and are always looking for the next thing to add to their home.
It can be nerve-wracking for those like myself who are more on the shy side but it has really helped me open up as a person. Social media also helps you to connect with current and potiential buyers on a more personal level. Not only that, but I have been able to make new friends with fellow makers through social media and learn from those who have been in the craft scene lonfer than I have.
Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
