Justin, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Almost all entrepreneurs have had to decide whether to start now or later? There are always pros and cons for waiting and so we’d love to hear what you think about your decision in retrospect. If you could go back in time, would you have started your business sooner, later or at the exact time you started?
I was always told “you can do anything in life that you put your mind to” but this statement did not settle in my reality until I took the leap of faith and decided I was going to bet on myself. You see I always wondered what life would be like owning my own business, but I was too busy playing tug a war with fear. For many years I was paralyzed by fear, but I knew deep down in my heart that I did not want to work for someone else my whole life. While working a job, I never enjoyed the fact that I was valued at a set dollar amount, I was told when and where to be at a certain time and most importantly I was restricted from the most valuable thing life has to offer “Time”. I knew every day I woke up to go work for someone else that I was losing out on time I could never get back. Coming to realization with the how empty I felt inside and knowing how much more value I had to give to this world, I decided to stop being controlled by my fears and took the biggest risk of my life. A life changing risk that has not only built so much character within myself but has taught me so many life lessons I can past down to generations to come. If I would have known what I know now I would have started this journey many years ago. I hope whoever is reading my story can be motivated to let go of their fear and to pursue what they really want to do in life.
