We were lucky to catch up with Justin Petrucci recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Justin, thanks for joining us today. We’d love to hear from you about what you think Corporate America gets wrong in your industry and why it matters.
The problem with the real estate industry in America is most corporate companies focus too much on recruiting and not enough on retention. When you join a traditional brokerage most brokers do not care if you’re making enough money to pay your bills. It’s all about income to the brokerage and the number of agents they can recruit.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
Beach State Realty is a team-based brokerage. Our agents work together with me as a team. We work together, train together, and grow together. I started Beach State Realty because I thought the industry needs a place for agents to get actual real estate career development.
Can you talk to us about how your funded your business?
As a real estate agent, I often talk about investing in real estate. I feel it is the best way to create wealth. When I wanted to start Beach State Realty. I sold an investment property and used the money I earned in appreciation to fund the company.
Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
The best source of new clients for us is to create a bond within the community. We utilize community outreach, events, print & digital marketing to get in front of our clients. Our content is to improve an understanding of the real estate process and highlight out community. This is our #1 source of business.
