We recently connected with Justin Moore and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Justin thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Risk taking is something we’re really interested in and we’d love to hear the story of a risk you’ve taken.
I was working a corporate job behind a desk making decent money and comfortable . When all of a sudden something came over me as I looked in the mirror in the break room and I knew this was not where God wanted me in life. So the risk was giving it all up and starting to get back into basketball through giving .
My wife supported me (even named the company) and No Moore Excuses Basketball Academy was created in less than a week. Haven’t looked back since !

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I am a former college basketball player that found a way to stay active in basketball . Graduate of Edinboro University of PA and co-founder of No Moore Excuses . I got into the training industry by volunteering at local gyms and parents telling me they would pay for my services.
My mission is to give back to the game of basketball, a game that has played such a pivotal role in shaping his life. For more information our website www.NoMooreExcuses.com can provide all questions anyone may have.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
My ability to teach and relate to players is what makes me different from other trainers . There are trainers with mega gyms and indoor all year facilities , but I am willing to travel and get it out the mud . Just how training use to be without all the cameras and social posting. Just intimate old school style workouts and personality . It’s pretty simple .

What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
Being seen in the basketball circuits in CT have helped me expand my business .
