We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Justin Cain. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Justin below.
Hi Justin, thanks for joining us today. Let’s jump right into how you came up with the idea?
The podcast that I host, “fullcrcl” is what I call my life project. I’ve always wanted to create a space for people to feel like they were apart of an community. It’s really a projection from my own internal desire to fit in growing up because I know what it’s like to be misunderstood and an out cast. So with this platform I’m using the podcast to introduce humans to other humans and really just get to the center of who they are. It’s so easy to become a character or public figure in this social media world but very rarely do we encounter other individuals who just care about… Us! That’s why fullcrcl is so important to me. The team I have and the space that I’m creating is much bigger than a podcast or creative endeavor. It’s a community. And everyone’s welcome.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers?
My journey began as a photographer. Which I still currently am. My entire life I’ve always processed things creatively and artistically. School was probably the tougher thing for me because I felt boxed in. I’ve always had a desire to produce a platform in the likes of fullcrcl but it just never had any context. More recently about 3 years ago I became comfortable with knowing which ideas were Now and which ideas were later. Always in a constant pursuit of accomplishing things I had never given myself time to sit with the things that reseed on my heart.
God taught me that time is something that I have no control over and that the purpose to everything in most cases isn’t always what I think it to be. When I began leaving my own flesh and deep desires to do the things i tirelessly did,I found peace in waiting. I had to allow certain ideas to grow (with time).
I have the biggest heart for people, and so with the time I took to actualize my ideas for fullcrcl I grew into the person equipped enough to do so. By the grace of God.
The root of everything I’m doing is for God and inadvertently for people through hthe things he’s given me. Fullcrcl is much much more than a podcast in the long run.
The name itself stands for completion. A moment destined to happen. A moment where it all makes sense. we can all attest to such a feeling which is why is stuck with me because of how it came to fruition this year. It was years in the making and now it’s finally happening.
Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
The goal is to bring Collaboration, Community, Love and God to people.
We want all who watch and partake in the space of fullcrcl to feel apart and feel SEEN.
It’s the only thing here at fullcrcl that matters to the team.
Can you talk to us about how you funded your business?
No real story here.
However I will say this. The direction fullcrcl is headed in there will be crowdfunding opportunities and exclusive platforms catered specifically to the community such as patreon and discord.
there will be future projects and productions that will need the support of everyone wanting to be apart!
