We recently connected with Justice League Arizona and have shared our conversation below.
Justice League, appreciate you joining us today. What sort of legacy are you hoping to build. What do you think people will say about you after you are gone, what do you hope to be remembered for?
We hope we can make an impact on our community, inspiring others to do random acts of kindness for others. We want people to know they don’t need to put on a cape or have fancy gadgets, they just need to be a symbol of hope and be kind to be the hero we know they are.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers?
Justice League Arizona is an all-volunteer organization formed to bring Arizona costume enthusiasts together under a collective identity with which to operate. JLAZ seeks to promote interest in DC COMICS® through the building and wearing of quality costumes, and to facilitate the use of these costumes for Comic-related events. We contribute to the local community through costumed charity and volunteer work..
JLAZ came to be through a love for DC comics. The founder, Dustin Dial, was in and saw how the Star Wars costumed group was helping the community and thought “Maybe DC Comics, since their characters are so iconic, can do the same thing and we can use costumes to bring attention to comics”
Is there a mission driving your creative journey?
Our particular goal is pretty much we just want to help the world be a better place. We want to make sure the causes we volunteer with get all the attention they deserve because they need the support and without them, we couldn’t do what we do.

How did you build your audience on social media?
Pictures are the big attention grabbers. People like seeing the costumes, but the excitement a child expresses when they see their favorite hero is unmatched. There’s no joy like the joy of a child and being able to share that on our social media is so wholesome. They’re part of the reason why so many volunteers do this in the first first place and we’re sure the audience can feel that when they look at our posts.
