We recently connected with Juno Central and have shared our conversation below.
Juno, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Can you talk to us about a project that’s meant a lot to you?
Honestly that would have to be the project I’m releasing at the end of the summer. The past year was a life test for me mentally & for my career, and you can hear every emotion on this album. I’ve always been a private person unless we’re close but I wanted to be transparent with this one so my fans can feel where I’m coming from and possibly relate. It’s honestly the best music I’ve ever made and I can’t wait to show it for real.
Juno, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I fell in love with rap around 5th grade and haven’t looked back. My cousin showed me Lil Wayne, TI, Gucci, Jeezy etc. & I knew this is what I wanted to do one day, but didn’t take it seriously til about 2016. Since then I’ve grown my name as an artist, produced, engineered, hosted, you name it lol. I also do graphic design & branding which got me into my business DeleteOrHeat , which is a network for independent artists. Two of my brothers & I also own our own label BGM (Build Grow Maintain) that we have big plans for. Overall, just be on the lookout for a lot of content, events & surprises this year
Do you think there is something that non-creatives might struggle to understand about your journey as a creative? Maybe you can shed some light?
Man it’s a lot about the journey you wouldn’t understand if you’re not experiencing first hand. The level of ambition and self motivation needed to keep goin your hardest while getting minimum support is crazy. Having to work jobs to pay bills/survive while having to fund and invest in your craft is one of the most mentally challenging things to deal with. At the end of the day , being successful requires resilience, faith & consistency. Easier said than done but we’re getting there lol.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
The satisfaction of accomplishments & the earning respect. We put so much time in what we do that all we really look for is progression & appreciation. Money of course, but I feel like if you got the right intentions & a good team behind you that will always come. To be able to impact lives from doing what I love would be the biggest reward in itself.
