We recently connected with Junko Kazukawa and have shared our conversation below.
Junko , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Can you share a story about the kindest thing someone has done for you and why it mattered so much or was so meaningful to you?
I am a two times cancer survivor. I have been cancer free for 14 years. Since my last cancer in 2009, I started running 100 mile trail running race. To get here, I had many nice friends helped me and encouraged me to come over this difficult time. They are my friends, my boss from work, running community, and many more.
I was born and raised in Japan, and I moved to US when I was 24 to attend the university. I have been working as a Fitness professional/ Trainer after the school, and started to work as an endurance running coach last 10 years. I love helping athletes/ people to achieve their fitness goals through my own experience and knowledge. I also love to encourage people go through the cancer like myself.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

Other than training/knowledge, what do you think is most helpful for succeeding in your field?
people skill, ability to listen people, be honest, and passion against what I do.

If you could go back, would you choose the same profession, specialty, etc.?
I love my field of health/ Fitness/ wellness, and training. If I could, – i would like to learn more about social media skills/ computer /IT skills to help my business, It is hard to catch up with these technology as i am getting older (-:
