Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jung Hyun Kim. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Jung Hyun, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. I’m sure there have been days where the challenges of being an artist or creative force you to think about what it would be like to just have a regular job. When’s the last time you felt that way? Did you have any insights from the experience?
I am happy with my job as a composer and business owner but at same time I am always curious how it would be like to have a regular job because I’ve never had one.
Sometimes creative jobs can be very overwhelming always creating something new in the given deadline. We had a hard time when we first started up the business advertising ourselves to get a potential client. During this period, our income wasn’t stable.. It is a great thing to have a job that we love but at the same time it makes wonder how it would be like to have a stable job and do the given task.
Jung Hyun, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

Working with divers clients starting with individual developers up to companies we understand diverse workflows of each clients and are able to communicate within their project pipeline.
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
Music was one of the way to share my imagination with others.
As I started working with audio for visual media, my work became bringing the media ‘alive’ by creating sound, atmosphere and music. I think it is very rewarding that I could share my vision with the audiences and supporting their experience.
Sound takes a huge role in immersive experience and I am very happy to work as a audio team for media.
What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
My goal is to always support the creative community and bring more creative media into our society.
Our primary goal is to bring up the importance of audio in visual media.
We are planning to organize more Game music concerts in Korea.
Also, we are currently supporting college students by giving opportunity to work with the audio team for their graduation portfolio projects.
We think it is very important to give the experience of how important audio could be to the growing up industry artists.
Beside these, we are always looking for more ways to generally support media and audio industry.
