Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Julio Cesar. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Julio , thanks for joining us today. We’d love to hear about a project that you’ve worked on that’s meant a lot to you.
My most meaningful project was with Amazon music.
Back when I start sharing more about my craft and view when it comes to dance I had a hard time believing my stuff were relevant for public in that time. I always concentrate in doing something the felt good but still question if couple would trust me and my work. Amazon came and offered me be part of there first project call “the future is ours” the it was a combination with fashion, dance and music. The beautiful thing about this, there main focus was to bring a team full of Latinos the represent excellence and innovation in there craft so working along side with people from different areas was a unique and meaningful experience the until this day brings joy to my heart

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I was born and raised in Mexico, I would say my journey began with soccer at the age of three because practicing the sport help me a lot to create the character and values I later on carry with me in everything I did after. It wasn’t until I turned 20 that I discovered dance — a late start by some standards, but one that came with an unstoppable hunger to learn and grow. Approaching dance at that age gave me a unique perspective and deep curiosity for the art form.
From the beginning, I committed fully — diving into technique, foundation, and choreography, always pushing myself to evolve. In recent years, I’ve focused on teaching, using reggaeton as a cultural bridge to bring the music and movement into spaces where it hadn’t existed before.
My goal has always been to build a solid foundation where other Latinos can feel empowered to dream bigger and break into the industry with confidence.
What sets me apart is my mindset — I believe art must evolve with the times. I strive to stay relevant while also delivering substance and authenticity. I’m not just aiming to entertain — I want to create something iconic and timeless, something that resonates for generations to come.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
The most rewarding aspect of being an artist is the ability to turn personal experience into something that connects with others on a deeper level. For me, it’s about using movement and music to tell stories — especially ones that represent my culture, my roots, and my evolution. There’s nothing like seeing someone feel seen or inspired because of something you created. That connection, that impact — it makes all the challenges worth it. Art has the power to break barriers and build community, and being part of that process is incredibly fulfilling.

Are there any books, videos, essays or other resources that have significantly impacted your management and entrepreneurial thinking and philosophy?
I’m a fan of Jack London, Paulo Coelho, and Jon Krakauer — authors who explore the human spirit, personal transformation, and the challenges of the unknown. Their stories remind me that both art and life are about taking risks, following your instincts, and pushing past fear. Whether it’s surviving in the wild or searching for meaning, their work has inspired me to stay true to my own path and trust the process of growth — both as an artist and an individual.
