We recently connected with Julie Prashad-Ramirez and have shared our conversation below.
Julie, appreciate you joining us today. Let’s kick things off with talking about how you serve the underserved, because in our view this is one of the most important things the small business community does for society – by serving those who the giant corporations ignore, small business helps create a more inclusive and just world for all of us.
There are so many families that don’t have access to basic financial literacy. It’s amazing how a little education and coaching can change the financial future for your family and generations to come.
Julie, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
After losing my parents, I had the daunting responsibility to make sense of what had happened and figure out how to move forward the best way I can. After going through depression, anxiety, and having no quality of life, II was determined to make a change and use my experience to help families through not go through what we did. I started on a mission to help one family at a time and quickly became successful. With my husband by my side, we quickly rose to the top as leaders in our industry offering specialized coaching, customized financial strategies based on your goals as well as personal support through life’s challenges.
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
Having passion and a heart to genuinely help people reach their goals and dreams and not go through what I did.
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
Learning to cope with depression and anxiety and never giving up on what life has to offer.
