We recently connected with Juliana Rosero and have shared our conversation below.
Juliana, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today To kick things off, we’d love to hear about things you or your brand do that diverge from the industry standard.
Hi, My name is Juliana Rosero, and I serve SouthFlorida as Juliana Rosero Photography. As a mother of two and with 11 years of working for Corporate America. I finally took the leap of faith and quit my 9-5 to open my small business. then Covid happen. I started to second guess my decision of leaving my steady job and as most of us felt very confused and hopeless. Standing out as a photographer in my industry was not a luxury it was a necessity. anchored by my unwavering faith in God and knowing that there was not turning back. I made it my mission to understand the photography needs of my community. I began by offering virtual photography sessions, allowing clients to capture precious moments from the safety of their own homes. This innovative approach not only set me apart from other photographers but also provided a valuable service during a time when in-person gatherings were limited.
Despite the challenges, I remained steadfast in my determination to succeed. I utilized social media platforms to showcase my work and connect with potential clients, offering tips and inspiration for at-home photography projects. I also reached out to local businesses and organizations, offering my services for virtual events and product photography.
As the months passed, I witnessed the resilience of my community and the power of human connection, even in the face of adversity. Families celebrated birthdays, couples marked milestones, and businesses adapted to new ways of operating. Through it all, I was there to capture these moments, preserving memories and spreading joy during uncertain times.
Slowly but surely, my small business began to thrive. Word-of-mouth referrals and positive reviews helped to bolster my reputation, and soon I found myself booked months in advance. What had initially seemed like a daunting decision to leave the security of my corporate job had turned into a fulfilling journey of entrepreneurship.
Looking back, I realized that every obstacle I faced had only made me stronger and more determined to succeed. The challenges of the past year had tested my resilience and forced me to think outside the box, ultimately leading to the growth and success of Juliana Rosero Photography.
Today, as I reflect on my journey, I am grateful for the support of my family, friends, and community. And as I continue to pursue my passion for photography, I am reminded that with faith, perseverance, and a willingness to adapt, anything is possible.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
