We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Julian Marin. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Julian below.
Julian, appreciate you joining us today. Can you share a customer success story with us?
Absolutely. One of the most touching success stories for The Rabbit’s Cave is about a wonderful client named Christine. Christine, a 65-year-old woman, reached out to us during a difficult time in her life. She had recently lost her husband and felt that the blank, pale walls of her home mirrored the monotony and solitude she was experiencing. She explained that she had read about how having a space that evokes emotions and feelings could transform her energy and outlook, so she wanted to make a meaningful change in her surroundings.
When we met Christine, she shared a photograph that she cherished deeply. It was a picture of her and her late husband holding hands on a beautiful beach in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. The moment captured in that photograph was her favorite memory, one filled with love, joy, and life. Seeing the way she held the photo, we knew we had to create something truly special for her.
We designed a mural inspired by that photograph—a serene beach scene with the silhouette of a couple holding hands. The mural was more than just artwork; it was a reflection of her happiest memory, a way to bring her most cherished moment into her everyday life. We took extra care to ensure that every detail resonated with the emotion she felt when looking at that photo.
A month after completing the project, Christine called us. Her voice was filled with joy as she shared how the mural had changed her life. She told us that waking up every day to see her favorite memory brought her peace, happiness, and a renewed sense of energy. It helped her start each day with positivity and hope.
For us, this story was a turning point. It reinforced why we do what we do. It’s not just about painting walls or designing murals—it’s about creating spaces that evoke emotions, inspire, and heal. Christine’s mural became a promise for us: every project we take on will be more than aesthetic. It will be meaningful, personal, and transformative.
Hearing how we made a positive difference in Christine’s life is something we’ll carry with us forever. It reminds us of the power of design and the responsibility we have to create spaces that truly matter to our clients.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
We are Julián and Nelson, brothers and co-founders of The Rabbit’s Cave, a dream born from our passion for art and design. We firmly believe that spaces have the power to transform how people feel and live their daily lives. That’s why we dedicate ourselves to creating murals and tailored solutions that not only enhance aesthetics but also tell stories and evoke emotions.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
One of the most important lessons we had to unlearn was that success in the creative world is solely about talent and hard work. While those qualities are essential, we realized that connection and empathy play an equally significant role.
This became clear during a project with Christine, a client who reached out to us for a mural after losing her husband. Initially, we approached the project thinking only about creating something visually stunning. But as we listened to her story and learned about the photograph of her and her late husband that inspired the design, we understood that the mural wasn’t just about art—it was about capturing a memory, a feeling, and a sense of healing. That experience taught us to truly listen and connect with our clients on a human level, putting their emotions and stories at the heart of everything we create. This shift has redefined how we approach every project since.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
Building our audience on social media has been a journey rooted in showcasing who we truly are and what we passionately do. From the beginning, we’ve focused on sharing projects that reflect our creativity and dedication, highlighting not just the final results but also the process behind each piece. This approach has allowed our audience to connect with our purpose and see the value in what we bring to the table.
