We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Jules Wortman. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Jules below.
Hi Jules, thanks for joining us today. Let’s start with a story that highlights an important way in which your brand diverges from the industry standard.
Honesty. Always be honest and forthright in everything you do. Stay true to your convictions and know that you will sleep better at night. It is easy to fall into corporate speak and ideals that often times do not match your beliefs, but in order to “tow the company line” you find yourself not being able to sleep at night. Remember, people respect those that lead, not follow. So be a leader in all that you do. I say this is different than the industry standard, because for the most part, it is.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
The effective strategy for growing your clientele is results. PR is a results driven business, whether it is creating a compelling story, building strong relationships with the media and industry tastemakers and trust from all of them, including your clients, you will usually have a positive experience all the way around. Then, it is a word of mouth situation for your company.
How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?
My clients know that I am always open for business when they need us. I mean, there is a limit to the 24 hour quick stop approach, but we pride ourselves on the open door policy. It is important to establish a great line of communication with your client so they feel comfortable. Key is to develop a solid and consistent relationship with all of your team and your clients.
