Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Judell Rome. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Judell, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.

This first time I knew that pursing a creative path professionally was in the 6th grade. Outside of school, much of my adolescent years involved “D.I.Y.” science projects, painting and sci-fi. Intrigued by the evolution of technology, I turned my attention to comic books and video games with dreams of creating my own catalogues. This endeavor would last for several years and consistently involved the production of drawings, themes and cultures of fictional characters.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

I was introduced to the music industry by a hobby becoming a business pursuit. Over the years, I’ve applied various self-taught skills to assist with following my interests in music, contemporary art and video production. These outlets help me reveal truths of my life experiences to my listeners and supporters. I attempt to provide unique elements that act as a cosmic mirror to whomever connects with my art. I’m most proud of those who use their individuality to unite the diversity our existence. My intent is to help uplift and inspire.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?

The most rewarding thing as a creative is experiencing the gratification that comes from expressing the art. I recognize we live in times where external validation is often sought, but I feel that the constant pursuit of material gain often leads to unfulfillment.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?

The goal at hand is to leave a legacy of tangible works, catalogues and art pieces that people can use for reference, inspiration or guidance on their journey in life. I recognized that it’s a privilege to connect with source to allow divine acts of creations to come to life, and that I should continue to be present and strive for the greater good.
