Juanita, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.

For over 10 years I have been a Dominatrix,from learning all types of personalities, to learning all types of kinks. My name is Juanita, but you can call me Mistress Nita. Lets dig deeper into this.
Growing up in a strict household with only a bed in my room and a very strict mother, it was very hard to blossom and show my true self to those that I love dearly.It was torture hiding the words and the actions I wanted to do. Something as small as not even being able to go outside to play with my friends. I grew up watching how punishments held so much power. I always wanted to hold that type of power. “one day” I always said.
As i grew older and finally hit the adulthood, I trained myself almost daily to be a better dominatrix at night while working hard during the day to save up for my business ventures. It was not easy, but not impossible.In 2023, after managing other businesses and started other businesses with family, I finally started something to call my own. It started out with gaming and kink events. My goal was to get the gamers that always wanted to explore the kink lifestyle while coming out of their shell in a safe non-judgmental space. I was proud of myself because i rapidly got a large following and since I had that understanding and same issue growing up it was easy for me to help everyone. 
On October 19th 2024, I marked one GREAT year of growing, building and most importantly, helping others explore kink in a safe space. Something I never had growing up i can finally give to those who still struggle to find that for themselves. This business has helped me grow on a personal level as well. This Dominican and Italian 3o year old woman finally came out of that shell she was in and she will unapologetically always be HER, everywhere she goes.Cheers to everyone being themselves no matter whos around. Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

EroticaNyc is a safe, fun and a great place to escape reality for a bit. We are a tight community that looks out for one another. We do not discriminate towards anyone. We are open to anyone who needs a safe space to be themselves. Society has us where we are belitiled for us being ourselves. I want to create this normalcy of exploring kinks and sex positive environments.
I am so proud of the community I have built because everyone has helped someone at a point. Life already has us to where its survival of the fittest. Not over here.

What sets me apart from others is the fact that it’s just more than parties for me. I devote myself day and night in my community to make sure people aren’t alone. Mental health is something that has been an issue for some time and I feel like if your mental isn’t there it can create mental blocks to do anything kink related. My team and I focus on wellness as much as kink exploring. We have workshops, getaways, mental health zoom calls, game tournaments and a bunch of other things for our community to enjoy.

Most importantly, I am proud of myself. Growing up being restricted to a lot had me in a shell I didn’t know I would get out of. I did it to break a cycle. A course. It starts somewhere and it will start with me.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?

I always tell people, when you do things out of the kindness of your heart, your sincerely genuine and you actually want to help, despite things going left sometimes, things will always turn for the best for you, consistency is also key. You cannot stop. As fun as the events are, they can be exhausting, but what fuels me is the laughters and the warm hugs I get when an event is over. I just feel like they need it and I am so proud of myself to provide something I didn’t have at one point. Now we all have it.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

Patience is definitely needed. I know it sucks when you work so hard on your page and you have pictures, advertisements, and messaging people to support and you don’t get the results you want. Trust me that’s just giving your page some time to find the audience you deserve. Do not settle for less. Also, it’s great to freshen up your page with different content to see what sticks. Be open to feedback. I know we all think that we know it all for our page but trust me there’s so much greatness out there from people that just want to help and see you flourish.

Last but not least, please do not compete with anyone on social media. Do not measure your success with anyone. It is so much better when you take it at your own pace. you get to enjoy your progress better.
