We recently connected with JUAN CARLOS ZAVALA and have shared our conversation below.
JUAN CARLOS, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Are you happy as a creative professional? Do you sometimes wonder what it would be like to work for someone else?
First of all, thanks for the invitation, to this day I can say that music is what excites me the most, connecting with the public, transmitting that energy and for a moment making them feel free, without worries, without problems and with the only objective to enjoy is something that cannot be described so easily and to achieve that on the dance floor is something amazing.
Today I am a Human Resources Manager in a company and thanks to that I can also know that people are always looking for a balance between work and their hobbies and music always is and will be a medium in which we can change our mood in an instant.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
From a very young age I felt very attracted to electronic music, to this day I still go to many events to listen great artists and labels that I admire, most in the Disco genre such as Dr. Packer, Dave Lee, Louie Vega, Birdee and parties as Glitterbox, Masters at work, Tropical Disco, DiscoExpress, etc.
To this day I consider myself a Dj / Producer focused on the Disco line, which is a very specific line because it tries to remember that time when the most important thing was to have fun and that was transmitted in the dance floor, where you left your problems behind and you just refuge in music, that era of clubs and 24-hour parties.
As of today I have several tracks in collaboration with Lavva who is a great producer also from Mexico and you can find all of them on Traxsource, Beatport, Soundcloud, Youtube and Spotify.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
For me, the most rewarding thing is that people listen my music and feel free, that through the music they can enjoy themselves, they can feel happy and that they take that same feeling home or work, that they transmit this feeling to others and Of course we never let go of disco music, because today it is more alive than ever
What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
I have different goals in the short, medium and long term and one of them is that I just started as an assistant at electronic music parties and today I am the one who plays the music, my goals are to participate with those great artists that I admire, share a booth , share a label and be part of that great world disco scene.
