We recently connected with Jovan Silva and have shared our conversation below.

Jovan, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?

The idea for my business started back in 2003 while working at a body shop for semi trucks. I enjoyed repairing these large trucks and saw that there wasn’t too many shops offering this type of service. As I started working, more doors have opened up in the same industry to repair chassis, shipping containers, cranes and all kinds of heavy duty equipment. I am offering a service where most companies had to travel a distance from Los Angels/Long Beach and opposite cost.

Jovan, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

I live in Long Beach and proud to have a business in this beautiful city. I learned this trade from a previous job. I really enjoyed the heavy equipment repair and paint job I was performing. Every vehicle repair is different so I enjoyed the constant challenge of figured out what needs to be repaired. I offer a service that no too many offer in southern CA, we not only do paint and body work on heavy equipment but also provide sandblasting. We pride ourselves in quick and quality work on each vehicle for our customers, understanding our valued customers need their equipment back as soon as possible.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

Our reputation grew simply by doing what we say. We guarantee our paint and body service and all the same return the vehicles in the time we agreed. Even though we are often busy, we are never too busy to make our customers feel comfortable and confident with our services. Our customers often refer us to colleges, family and friends because of our service and quality work.

We’d love to hear about how you keep in touch with clients.

We maintain our clients by offering great service and consistent results in their repairs. They are always done right and done in a timely manner which is very important to our customers since their vehicles provide their livelihood. Clients often come to us to fix what the other guys couldn’t do. Either because the repair took too long or they wherent’ experienced to do the repair.
