The best investment I’ve made so far is a DJI camera. As a content creator, I already had a main camera, but like many influencers, I often felt anxiety using a bulky camera in public places. It drew too much attention, and sometimes discouraged me from filming altogether. I ended up relying on my phone camera instead, but that came with its own challenges including inconsistent quality, which was starting to affect my vlogs.

The DJI camera changed everything. It’s compact, discreet, and easy to use, making it less intimidating to vlog in public spaces. Because of its smaller size, I’ve been able to film experiences and capture content in places I would have avoided with a bigger camera. This investment has allowed me to vlog more consistently and authentically, which has been a game changer for my content.

The biggest lesson I’ve learned from this experience is investing in something that makes the process easier and more enjoyable can have a huge impact on creativity and consistency. The process becomes something you look forward to, rather than something you avoid or dread. This has been a game changer, not just for my content but also for my confidence as a creator.

I’m a micro-influencer who focuses on lifestyle, beauty, and travel, with a strong passion for connecting authentically with my community. I have always been a source for my friends and community when it comes to product suggestions so I decided to hone in on this skill. No matter how much I grow, staying relatable is always my top priority. My content is all about sharing new and effective beauty tools, showcasing new travel destinations, and introducing my audience to unique experiences. Whether it’s trying out finds from Instagram ad boutiques, exploring the latest beauty trends, or reviewing popular restaurants in Atlanta, I love discovering and sharing what works.

What sets me apart is my commitment to honesty and trust. The community I’ve built means everything to me, and I never recommend a product or service I don’t believe in. I take pride in ensuring that every review, tip, or recommendation is genuine and valuable. Of course, the ultimate support is purchasing a creator’s product, but boosting their metrics through likes, comments, shares, or clicks is also incredibly valuable. Small actions like these help creators thrive, build their community, and continue sharing their talents!

When my camera was stolen, it felt like my drive was stolen with it. Among the lost footage was content from my birthday trip that I hadn’t yet transferred to my external hard drive. It was devastating because my travel content always performs well on my channel, and losing it felt like a huge setback. For a week, I wanted to give up altogether.

But instead of quitting, I made the choice to keep going. I invested in a new camera and hit the ground running. When a creative’s work is stolen, it can feel like all your effort was for nothing, but I’m so glad I didn’t let that stop me. Pushing forward turned out to be the best decision because my channel has since experienced tremendous growth. That moment taught me that setbacks, no matter how discouraging, don’t define your journey; your resilience does.
