Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Josiah Hagblom. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Josiah, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What’s been the most meaningful project you’ve worked on?
The most meaningful project we’ve worked on is our debut album we’re working on right now. The whole album concept is telling our story, bringing up women safety, talking about sexual assault and other things around those lines, and also bringing up our faith. We will be releasing a new single of our album soon called you open my eyes to hate Ft:Christian O’Neal. This song means the world to us $iah talked about the times he’s been sexually assaulted and other things around those lines (if you know what I mean). This song is genuinely there to help anybody that has ever felt that pain. We say this with much love in our hearts we are so excited to get this music to all of you! This truly means the world to us.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
My name is Josiah more known as $iah (Lead vocalist/producer) and my fiancé’s name is Kelly more known as Suzuk.io (Dj/dancer). My fiance and I met March 16th 2022 and got engaged April 12 2023 on stage at our show at Amsterdam bar and hall. The moment we met we fell in love beyond music. Within a couple months of dating we thought of the idea to combine our talents of music and dancing into a whole experience called the $iah experience. Beyond our relationship I have made music since I was 11. My whole family makes music specifically my aunt has been signed with her band Gabriel and the apocalypse and gone on multiple tours, my dad has been signed as a drummer for Grade 8 and also gone on tour, my grandma and grandpa have also made music for over 40+ years. A lot of my own love for music started a couple years after my mom died. She died when I was 5 and as I got older I found it harder to deal with my moms death, became more aware and emotional and eventually I found writing and my first song was about her and since then that’s been my outlet. Then when I found my fiance that just sent everything into over drive because of the way she believes in me and has truly shown me real love. Now we are an electrifying and innovative musicians/band from the bustling music scene of the Twin Cities in Minnesota. We create a seamless blend of Metal and EDM, captivating every audience we perform in front of with our unique sound and dancing. We are here to spread unique high vibrational music. And are always craving more when it comes to music.
