We were lucky to catch up with Joshua Ramjaane recently and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, Joshua thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?

My goal is not to make money but help and support my fellow immigrants and refugees

Joshua, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

My name is Ramjaane Joshua I am a Rwandan renowned comedian, actor, Philanthropist , MC, Interpreter/Translator,TV and Radio Host. I am also the founder and the president of The Ramjaane Joshua Foundation a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based in the U.S.A . The mission is to change the lives of immigrants, refugees, and others by advocating for them and helping them learn to integrate themselves into American society.https://ramjaanefoundation.org I was born in Goma(D.R.Congo) to Rwandan parents, spent most of his childhood in Rwanda ( East Africa), and eventually emigrated to United States in April 2016.

I started doing theatre at the young ages at church, school and even at home but that time i did not realize that was my talent. I discovered my passion for comedy and acting in 2009 and from that time I started performing in different events.

I have been doing Stand up comedy since 2009 as a professional and I has performed in different parties, concerts in Rwanda, Uganda ,Tanzania and United States. My Educative Comedy also targets all people especially business people for TV&Radio adverts, Billboards, Roadshows, etc..in order to promote their products. With my art (Comedy and Acting) , I seeks also to impact the youth with positive values: hard work, education, wealth creation and active participation in national economic development.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?

I will say honesty , hardworking and creativity.

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?

Social media has been so helpful for my new clients, also I got so many referals from my former clients . I have a youtube channel that has almost 15,000 subscribers and my Instagram and Facebook are so active .
