We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Joshua Miller a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Joshua, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What do you think Corporate America gets wrong in your industry? Any stories or anecdotes that illustrate why this matters?
I don’t really think corporate America gets anything wrong about our industry. I believe that there is a beneficial relationship between my industry and big business. We’ve worked with various large companies and it has always been a pleasure, they get the creative direction and process our team develops, it’s why we exist.

Joshua, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
We provide a robust spread of services and products, from video production, photography, audio engineering & mixing, website design & development, Branding & Graphic Design, Social Media Marketing, just to name a few. We really have strength in storytelling, and that comes through whether we are filming a 30-second tv commercial or a brand film. What sets us apart is how we as a team solve problems, we have such a creative team with a wide set of skills that wake up every day and love what they do. With us, the dedication to detail and delivery is what sets us up for success.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
One thing I’ve always noticed is the power of storytelling through film to really challenge perspectives and change minds. So many people have changed their diets or their ideologies or how they spend their money based on something that they have watched on a screen. I love harnessing the power of storytelling to do good in the world, to help people to arrive at conclusions that are rooted in reality, and that open eyes to the people around them.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
Seeing the completed project! The dedication that our team puts in makes everything so worthwhile once that final cut has been made.
