We were lucky to catch up with Joshua Elijah recently and have shared our conversation below.

Joshua , appreciate you joining us today. How did you learn to do what you do? Knowing what you know now, what could you have done to speed up your learning process? What skills do you think were most essential? What obstacles stood in the way of learning more?

Well, I started a free trial class with Skillshare on photography and cinematography. It’s kinda slow for me because I’m currently working with just my phone, I believe when I get my full gears and a better camera, it’ll help speed up my learning process because so far, that has been an obstacle for me to able to learn more

Joshua , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

I’m a photographer, and I’m also into cinematography. I love portrait photography, B/W photography, Nature, landscape, and travel photography. Watching my photo colour grading and editing skills grow daily is something I’m proud of, and I look forward to keeping learning as much as I can

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

For me, the most rewarding aspect of being creative is the ability to bring joy and inspiration to others through my work.

Any advice for managing a team?

To maintain high morale, it’s important to recognize and appreciate the hard work and contributions of each team member. Additionally, setting clear expectations and goals, providing opportunities for growth and learning, and fostering open communication can help keep a team motivated and engaged.       00
