Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Joshua Crossno. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Joshua , appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.

The first time I realized I wanted to pursue a creative path professionally was back when I was in middle school. I started to really get into the alternative community with the fashion, music, and overall aesthetic. I even spent the next 7 years in band class learning how to play multiple instruments to pursue a career in stage performing. After high school I did join a couple of bands playing a few shows, but I eventually fell into the world of makeup & content creation.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

Well for people who haven’t heard of me. Hi I’m Josh, but I go by @_Coffin_Creeper_ online and I’m a full time digital creator on Instagram, TikTok, Twitch, and soon to be YouTube. My content consists of alternative/Goth makeup looks and outfits. I got into content creation as a side hobby during the pandemic in 2020 and things just took off from there. Along with creating content I also make, sell merch and co host a podcast called “The Western Graveyard”. I would say I’m most proud of modeling for well known companies in the alternative community such as VampireFreaks and Lipservice. I would want potential followers to know that I wouldn’t be where I am without the help and support of my followers & fans.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?

Being a creator has its many challenges, but it’s also rewarding in the sense that just seeing my content can makes someone’s day better or inspire someone to be themselves.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?

I would say it’s a goal of mine to show people not to judge a book by its cover.
