Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Josh Evans. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Josh , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Do you wish you had waited to pursue your creative career or do you wish you had started sooner?

I wish I started “Snake Edge” sooner because I went through a couple other projects before it that I didn’t get as much pleasure from whether I wasn’t in a big enough role in the creative process or financial reasons.

Josh , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

My intermediate family members are the reasons why I love metal music. It all really started when my dad played Metallica’s “Kill em’ all” vinyl for me on his record player and I just kept studying heavy music from all subgenres from what my sister enjoyed to what my dad would often play on his stereo system when he was home. Just seeing how powerful music can move people really make me want to do not just as a virtuoso player but also has an entertainer.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?

People coming up to acknowledging how much they loved your sound, performance, and aesthetic. It puts a huge smile on my face especially when it comes from people I highly admired.

What can society do to ensure an environment that’s helpful to artists and creatives?

By simply just being there for them when they need it most. Going to everyone’s each other shows and spreading the love around.
