Joseph, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Alright, so you had your idea and then what happened? Can you walk us through the story of how you went from just an idea to executing on the idea
I have been in the jewelry business for over 20 years and realized that all jewelers just tend to sell anything that comes their way.
I always loved jewelry because of its sentimental value and wanted to sell something that doesn’t lose its value that is where I got the Idea of starting Gem Jewelers Co.
We specialize in Tennis Necklaces and Tennis bracelets and Diamond Studs Because these items never go out of style and do not loose value.
As soon as We started the company we instantly had alot of demand and customers inquiring about prices etc. We were not even ready yet abnd could not believe the amount of customers and sales we made in our first year. We quickly had to get a order system in place to keep track and move into a bigger office in only 7 months into our companies launch.
Joseph, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I have a background in diamonds since my parents and grandparents have been in the business so it was easier for me to gain respect and trust in the industry which in my opinion is the key to success here. I think that the key trait to being successful in this business is honesty. The more honest you are the more customers keep coming back and sending referals.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
My Audience on Social Media came from a few Celebrities who had been in touch with us and ended up purchasing from us and like any regular customer, they send us so many referrals as you can imagine. Many Celebrities with over 20 million followers so you can imagine the effect it had on our business. I think the key to growing your audience is to not be afraid to ask for customers to shout you out and keep pushing your business it will eventually kickoff. Customers like persistence and love to see dedication and passion so make sure you have all that.
Have you ever had to pivot?
We had a time During Covid the Diamond business was so slow and had no business we had to find a way to get some sales. We ended up running huge promotions and even selling diamonds at our cost just to keep us with a Cash flow and some action.
