We were lucky to catch up with Joselynn Campos recently and have shared our conversation below.
Joselynn, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
As a mom of three girls and a proud Mexican-American woman, I have a love for creating items that promote female and women empowerment. Through my craft, I aspire to inspire and uplift, celebrating the strength, resilience, and potential of women.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Hi everyone! I am Joselynn. I was born in the sunny state of California, but Colorado is my home. My life is a mix of roles and passions. By day, I’m a full-time employee at a middle school. Off the clock, I’m a wife and a proud mother of three wonderful girls who fill my heart with joy.
I’ve always had a passion for creating. I own a small crafting business specialize in creating pieces for events as well as crafting custom items/gifts. One of the principles of my work is my commitment to promoting women empowerment particularly through apparel and drink-ware.
My journey as a small business owner began with the birth of my first daughter, in 2017. I started creating unique items for her. Encouraged by the support of my husband, family, and friends, I decided to share my passion. My business did not grow overnight. It was a journey that took three years of hard work. I’ve also had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with many talented local small businesses, whose partnerships have helped my own business grow exponentially.
I believe what sets me apart from others is my minimal modern style. I believe in the beauty of simplicity, the elegance of clean lines, and contemporary design, which infuse timeless quality into my creations.
Thank you!
Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
Social media, especially when clients or other businesses share what you’ve created. Word of mouth goes a long way so I definitely appreciate everyone that mentions me on their stories or posts.
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
I built my clients through social media by creating aesthetically pleasing items and photos, as well as sharing some humorous content. These strategies helped me engage with my audience, showcase my products, and bring a sense of fun and personality to my brand, which in turn attracted more clients.
