We recently connected with Jose Rodriguez and have shared our conversation below.
Jose, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today If you could go back in time do you wish you had started your business sooner or later?
I started my business about 12 years ago, when I was in my mid 20s. At that point in my life, I had been working in various jobs for several years and was feeling unfulfilled and a bit out my own loop. I had always dreamed of starting my own business I just didn’t think what kind of business until I started my photography journey and finally took the leap of faith to pursue my passion.

Jose, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
What sets me apart from others in my industry is my dedication to client satisfaction and attention to detail. I believe in the power of good photography and videos to make a lasting impression and drive results for my clients. I take the time to truly understand their needs and goals and fulfilling all their creative ideas.
I am most proud of the positive feedback I get from my clients and the long-lasting relationships I have built with each and every single one of them. I take great pride in helping small businesses and families achieve that type of content and memories they’ve always wanted. My main goal is to provide value and support to my clients through my photography and video services.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
For me, the most rewarding aspect of being a photographer and videographer is the ability to express myself and share my thoughts, emotions, and ideas with others. Creating great video content allows me to communicate in a unique and powerful way, connecting with people on a deeper level and evoking feelings and creating those perfect memories with the client. I see my vision come to life and witness the impact it has on others. Ultimately, being able to inspire and spark emotions through my work is what makes being an artist so rewarding for me.
Do you have any insights you can share related to maintaining high team morale?
Communication is key: Keep an open line of communication with your clients and or team members. Make sure they feel heard and valued.
Provide feedback and recognition: Offer constructive feedback and praise when deserved. Let your team members know when they are doing a great job and celebrate their achievements.
Encourage creativity: Allow your team members the freedom to express their creativity and experiment with new ideas. Encourage them to think outside the box and try new techniques.
