Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jose Ramirez. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Jose, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What do you think it takes to be successful?
It takes a lot. It’s more of a combination of duties and morals you have to set in life in order to achieve the goal. My perspective is to first acknowledge your surroundings. Who has your support and what can be used to help you become successful. Cause when life throws you down (and it will) you might need a bit of help and encouragement from others to get back on your feet. Create a schedule and stick with it. Try to organize your life and make sure you are getting enough rest. Own your failures. Keep going no matter how difficult it gets. Learn from your mistakes and don’t get stuck on a loop. There’s always a way and if it gets too hard it’s okay to take breaks. And always do the right thing, do it beautifully. I promise it’s going to feel a hundred times better when you finally reach success.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers?
I started this photography business because of my skill to capture life in a very unique way. It started with nature and all its amazing colors. People would gravitate towards them and would ask what type of camera I would use. Fast forward 6 years and now I moved from sunshine and flowers to love, life and accomplishments that mean the most to you. I consider myself a natural light photographer so I can still blend my images with nature in any way possible. I simply cannot and will not leave behind the very reason why I started. This perfect combination allows me to become the artist that I am and create with my own natural touch. Using my surroundings to bring more depth and meaning to every shot. I take my time and always make sure my clients and creative artists are comfortable with everything I do. I’ve come a long way and I’m still learning each day I create. This is for the love of art.
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
I’ve met so many lovely souls in this journey. Each mind has its own unique way of seeing the world and I’ve learned so much. I am so grateful for every single person who took their time to create with me and gave me their trust. It means the world to me. Thank you.
Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
I want everyone to see all aspects of life and its glory. I want to share meaningful stories about love and pain. I believe a photograph can do so much of that and even more for your soul. From people to places. The sunrise of our every day life to our beautiful faces. Self love and moments that we’ll keep forever in our hearts. All this for the love of art.
