We recently connected with Jose (Poe) Molina and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Jose (Poe) thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Can you talk to us about how you learned to do what you do?
I always loved photography but I never took the plunge into it till around 5-7 years ago. A lot of the skills I learned were thru trial and error, Google and of course YouTube academy lol. I think a lot of the obstacles that stood in my way were mainly myself. I would always second guess myself or talk myself out of doing it.

Jose (Poe), love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Hi my name is Jose Molina or as many know me in the photo community Mister Poe or Poe. I’m a local photographer/Videographer in the Inland Empire. Growing up I always liked photo. I grew up in Huntington Park Ca. And eventually moved out here to the Inland Empire. I always loved photography. I always remember going on School trips and having a camera with me so I can take pictures but I never took it serious. I guess I was just too scared that I would fail. But it
Wasn’t till like 6-7 years ago that I took the big plunge into taking it more serious, something that has made me happy and I don’t regret at all. I specialize in portrait shoots, landscapes, and anything creative. The one thing that I am most proud of is myself. That thru out the time I’ve been shooting I always try to improve my skills more and I don’t give up. I’m proud of the bonds I have helped create between creatives in the community. For my followers/fans I just have to say keep working at it. Don’t give up, just because you hit a road block doesn’t mean you have to stop. Keep moving forward. I am also a part of a group that puts together photomeet ups. This event is open to the public. It’s focus is to get together photographers, models, videographers and creatives to network with each other and in the process to help each other skill wise. The event is called @4_the_vibez. So for anyone that is beginning in this industry you should come out sometime and check it out.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
Consistency and communication. Very open minded to any ideas that are brought to me.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
Making people happy when they see that we brought to life the concept they wanted to create.
