We recently connected with Jose Flores and have shared our conversation below.
Jose, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
Becoming a professional speaker wasn’t something that I ever thought I’d be doing. Growing up in the Bronx, New York and being born with a muscle deteriorating disease, I thought I’d never be able to do anything great because of all of the odds that were stacked against me. I struggled a lot when I was young with negative thoughts, limiting beliefs, and not dreaming big enough all while my body was getting weaker. It wasn’t until I got older and started reading more books that I started to understand the power of the mind and our words. I started to realize that it was possible for me to build the life of my dreams if I just stopped allowing fear to talk me out of moving forward every time I decided to. I had to re-wire my brain to think limitless and develop the courage to go after everything I’ve ever wanted and to this day I’m still climbing to the top.
So, I decided to leave corporate America and go after my dreams. I started noticing that the amount of people who just settle for what life gives them was out of this world and I wanted to change that. I wanted to not only just tell people, but I wanted to show them that no matter what happens in life, we can still live our best lives now. We have to get to a place where we’re comfortable in our own skin and we stop worrying about what others think or say about us. Once you can learn to do that, you experience a level of freedom that most wish they had.
So, my mission is to inspire millions of lives to view life from a new level to achieve unlimited possibilities.
IF, you need help doing that, feel free to reach out to me at [email protected]

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
One of the main keys to building your social media is to be YOURSELF. Being authentic, transparent, and vulnerable will always attract the right people who are a right fit for your tribe. When I first began to get involved and engaged with social media I would post things about my personal life because people want to know about the person behind the brand and as a professional speaker, I am the brand. I also shared tips, strategies, and hacks that I used that helped me grow my speaking business. Here’s the thing, many people want the end result but they don’t want to do the work that’s required to get the end result and it just doesn’t work like that. Consistency is a major key. What do I mean by that? I mean doing the things that need to be done even if you don’t like doing them. Even when you don’t feel like doing them, they must be done because that’s what consistency is. I’m super consistent on all of my social media platforms and in the beginning, it was just me, doing it all. Now, after being consistent, I have been able to build the resources where I was able to hire a team of people to help me with that so I can focus on other things that. are more important. I like to say, “Slow and steady wins the race”.
Stay inspired and stay consistent!

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
Living in a wheelchair and not giving up, is the epitome of resilience. I was born with a condition called Spinal Muscular Atrophy which is a neuromuscular muscle deteriorating disease. But I’ve never let that stop me from living my best life now. Has it been extremely challenging? YES! Have I struggled tremendously? Absolutely. But I’ve always been able to adapt and adjust and if you can learn to do the same, you’ll be able to see the greatness that really lies within you. You’ll begin to see how powerful and strong you really are. It all starts with your mindset. You have to tell yourself over and over and over that it’s going to get better and that it’s going to BE better. Our minds are so powerful. It always operates based on the programming that you download into it. So, if you don’t like the way it’s operating, it may be time to update the software or maybe even download a completely different software. One that’s more powerful and stronger and able to handle heavier loads. Life is always going to hand you blows but how you react and recover is the true meaning of resilience.
Stay strong and resilient.
