We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Jose Eduardo Ramirez a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Jose Eduardo, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What do you think it takes to be successful?
Consistency, if you could build a routine even better. Trust the process and stay on top of it, things sometimes can take some time but you got trust that you’ll get it done.

Jose Eduardo, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Hello, my name is Jose Eduardo Ramirez but my friends call me Eduardo there for the name of the business, Ed’s Party Bus. We are a party bus and transportation service in the Cincinnati area and surroundings city. We provide a safe and fun way of transportation to any event or special occasion. Been in business since 2017 and everything was good going smoothly till the pandemic hit. Saw a huge decrease on business with all my events been canceled and had to close down for a few months while the beginning of the pandemic. We found a way to survive while doing small gathering offerings private events to small group of people. We took all the precautions necessary and adjusted to the new ways. We were able to surpass 2020 but we had to shrink from 3 vehicles to just running 1 bus. In 2021 right when we were going go to our busy season I happen to get sick and with that lost a limb. The amputation to my right foot was challenging but with the help of my friends we were able to keep the bus going and thriving. With all this going on we were still able to keep our clients happy and keep their appointments on time. Customer service and satisfaction is a big part of our moto making us keep big event such a Tailgating for Football games and having our customers recommend us to their friends and family. Now in 2022 and 2023 we are looking to keep the momentum going by giving bigger deals so we can grow with another addition for our fleet.
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
Losing my right foot had been the most challenging thing to me not only in my personal life but also with my business since most the times i had to be the driver as well. Was able to find people to cover for me while i was in the hospital for over 2 months and the year after that took me to recover from it. Took all the steps necessary to be able to go back to driver legally under this new circumstances. Took me a while but i got it down again and now you’ll see me on the road helping & celebrating with people.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
Definitely all the positive feedbacks and reviews helped me with that. Keeping the consistency on social media such a Instagram (@eds_party_bus) with weekly pictures of the events to remind people that we are still here ready to help out in any events or special occasion.
