Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jose Alexzander. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Jose, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What’s been the most meaningful project you’ve worked on?
“I have been working on the Love for Upcycling project for the past three years. Our company is fully dedicated to promoting and supporting upcycling designers worldwide. Our main objective is to raise awareness about the damage that fast fashion is causing to our planet. We aim to change people’s minds regarding shopping culture.”
Jose, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I’ve been an upcycling designer for a long time and I’m very passionate about educating people about the importance of upcycling. our company, Love for Upcycling, is dedicated to promoting and supporting upcycling designers worldwide. we believe that upcycling is an essential part of sustainable fashion and can help reduce waste and pollution in the fashion industry. our goal is to create a community of upcycling designers who share our vision and values and to provide them with the resources and support they need to succeed.
our Instagram page, @loveforupcycling, and our website, www.loveforupcycling.com, are dedicated to educating people about upcycling with tips and practical videos for all types of audiences. we also offer a variety of upcycled products on your website for those who want to support but don’t want to practice upcycling themselves.
Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
Our dream is to open upcycling stores and ultimately an upcycling center where people can learn, share, and buy upcycled products. However, we are facing difficulties due to the lack of subscribers on our platforms. People don’t understand how important it is to subscribe to our page. Subscribing for just $4.99 a month will help us continue educating and supporting other upcyclers. Our goal is to create a community of upcycling enthusiasts who share our vision and values and to provide them with the resources and support they need to succeed. We believe that upcycling is an essential part of sustainable fashion and can help reduce waste and pollution in the fashion industry. Until one day we will be able to open our first store, we will continue to work hard to promote upcycling and sustainable fashion.”
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
To capture our audience’s attention, we have been working non-stop every day, posting three times a day, engaging with our followers, and answering and liking their comments. It’s important for our audience to know that we are listening and aware of their opinions and ideas. Social media is very competitive, and the content has to be attractive and fast to stand out. We have learned that educational videos are the most successful type of content on social media. They are quick, informative, and engaging, which makes them perfect for capturing our audience’s attention. By creating educational videos, we can provide value to our audience while also promoting our brand and products. We can also use these videos to establish ourselves as thought leaders in our industry and build trust with our audience.
