Hi Jorie Blake, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
At just 12 years old, Jorie Blake Rosen has emerged as an inspirational figure with exceptional songwriting abilities. With her lyrics and melodies, she effortlessly captivates audiences, drawing comparisons to the unparalleled talents of Dolly Parton and Taylor Swift.
Jorie’s journey as a songwriter began at the remarkable age of 8, when she penned her first single in her journal. Titled “Make Your Own Music,” this uplifting anthem was released in March 2021 and has been streaming since, resonating with listeners through its empowering message. At the moment, Jorie has four original songs streaming and is currently in the studio working on her first album which is planned to release this year.
In addition to her musical endeavors, Jorie is also a talented working actor, showcasing her versatility as a singer-songwriter and performer. Her ability to connect with her audience through both music and acting marks her as a multifaceted young talent with a promising future.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Working in Entertainment is not easy. There are more no’s than yes’s. So it can definitely be difficult at times. But I believe if you keep following your heart and do what you love you have already won!
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a Singer/ Songwriter and Actress. I think what sets me apart is that I have been writing my own songs since I was 8 years old. I am very passionate about my lyrics and the messages I want to get across to my fans.
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
Every time I produce a new song or step out on to a stage I am taking a risk. Though I LOVE to perform and tell stories, it can also be very scary at times. You know people are judging you and might have some mean feedback, but I have learned I cant control those things. I just need to be me and stay confident with who I am!
