Alright, Jorgonne thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Going back to the beginning – how did you come up with the idea in the first place?

I am interested in expressing my support of helping humanity as a whole because my nonlinear path has been profoundly enriching. I have faced significant personal challenges, including multiple surgeries, a difficult breakup, a job loss, and family struggles, yet I have remained steadfast in my commitment to growth and service. These experiences have shaped my resilience, strengthened my character, and deepened my understanding of the struggles many individuals face. I felt the presence of the Holy Spirit of God endorsing me to justify my purpose in the world by knowing that Jesus is living within. I acknowledge that people use the love of God purposefully, but I myself love Jesus with the knowledge of fulfilling his wills and wisdoms of mankind’s tribulations and pains; loving Jesus Christ and recognizing his existence not only prevails but redeems me through the world. This journey has been transformative for me, as I have become increasingly aware that Jesus has plans for us all—plans that often involve serving others and uplifting those in need. Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, I have experienced a sense of absolution from many of my past sins, empowering me to pursue a path dedicated to compassion and service.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

My name is Jorgonne Ellis, also known as Jorgonne Denazareth. Throughout my educational and personal journey, I have developed a deep passion for empowering individuals to overcome challenges and achieve meaningful changes. I began my academic journey by earning an associate’s degree in psychology from Queensborough Community College. Subsequently, I went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in social work and psychology from Queens College. Most recently, I completed my Master of Social Work at Touro University, where I further honed my skills in client-centered practices and learned to approach every situation with empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a commitment to lasting impact. These experiences provided me with the theoretical and practical foundation necessary to support individuals in a variety of settings. Ultimately, I yearned to pursue a PhD in forensic psychology, however my journey led me to an unexpected but ultimately fulfilling project: writing a biography about my life, inspired by the Holy Spirit. This process reinforced my belief in the power of narrative to heal and inspire. I came to understand that sharing one’s story is a deeply transformative act, and I now see my own journey as a testament to the strength of the human spirit and the redemptive power of faith. Additionally, I went on establishing a non-profit mental health facility because I am particularly drawn to serve the world of God that aligns with my own values and passion for service. My experience and skills in social work, combined with my ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds, equip me to make a meaningful impact. The combination of my professional training and my profound spiritual understanding of God and Jesus Christ gives me a unique perspective that has been shaped by the challenges I have faced in my own life. I believe that my background in supporting individuals through their challenges, paired with my unwavering faith in the love and guidance of Jesus Christ, would allow me to contribute positively to the work of humanity. I would be honored to contribute my skills and experiences to the world and help make a difference in the lives of those who need it most. I look forward to the opportunity to further discuss how I can be of service.

How did you put together the initial capital you needed to start your business?

Lord oversees the funding for Simone Helping Hands, LLC., a mission that sprung forth from a profound inspiration rooted in the grace of Jesus of Nazareth.
Recognizing the deep-seated issues affecting our communities, I am driven to seek out individuals who share a similar vision of helping humanity. Together, we can create a network of support that fosters healing, understanding, and empowerment. There is an urgent need to address the stigma surrounding mental health infractions, which often prevents individuals from seeking the help they desperately need. By funding and promoting initiatives through Simone Helping Hands, we aim to change perceptions and create safe spaces for open dialogue about mental health.

Moreover, addressing the homelessness epidemic is a critical component of our mission. Many individuals facing homelessness are grappling not only with a lack of shelter but also with mental health challenges that complicate their situations. By providing resources, support, and advocacy, we can help break the cycle of homelessness and empower individuals to rebuild their lives.

I have been inspired by the example of the Levites of God, who were devoted to serving their communities; I aspire to embody the same kind of service and dedication. Our goal is to create a holistic approach that not only addresses immediate needs but also fosters long-term well-being and stability. We envision a future where mental health is prioritized and homelessness is addressed with compassion and actionable solutions.

By collaborating with like-minded individuals and organizations, we can amplify our efforts and make a lasting impact. Each step we take is guided by faith, love, and a commitment to uplifting those around us. Together, we can bring about meaningful change, transforming lives and reshaping the narrative around mental health and homelessness for the better.
