We recently connected with Jordon Haynes and have shared our conversation below.
Jordon, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. How did you learn to do what you do? Knowing what you know now, what could you have done to speed up your learning process? What skills do you think were most essential? What obstacles stood in the way of learning more?
I first started when I was a kid I loved hearing the songs and just started playing along with them. When it comes to what I could have done to speed up the learning process is probably enroll in official lessons. The most essential as of know is one I’m still learning which is getting comfortable on stage. One of the main obstacles early on was finding more people to play with

Jordon, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Well to those of ya’ll who don’t know my I’m Jordon Haynes AKA (SYLENSZ) I started originally by just playing drums in my garage then to production I put my first song out at the age of 12 on a website call Bandlab ever since then it’s been history. One of the biggest things I’d say to keep your eye on is the passion you have for not only in music as it pertains to me but in what ever your dream/passion is bc that’s what will eventually be the backbone to your drive and potential success. I currently am a recording artist based in fl I’m also a producer for any other artists that need beats that be hitting my one thing that I’d say sets me apart is I try to incorporate lots of other cultures music structure such as for instance the drums from Brazilian tracks with the melodies of a drill beat based out of New York tied together from heavy guitar riffs from the early 90’s and heavy hitting distortion in metal track out now to try to make one cohesive track that hits out of nowhere . Right now id say my main focus is finally building up my fan base on not only socials such as tiktok , instagram, Snapchat Ect but also getting more of a profound stage presence and we are in the work of merch.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
For me the most rewarding part is being able to not only express anything I’m feeling or going through but also being able to connect with people that are also feeling the same things and are able to relate to my tracks

Is there mission driving your creative journey?
My main goal is to be able to build a community around all creatives not just musicians specifically but all encompassing a performance that highlights all creative arts on one
