We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Jordan Turner a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Jordan , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Risking taking is a huge part of most people’s story but too often society overlooks those risks and only focuses on where you are today. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – it could be a big risk or a small one – but walk us through the backstory.
I took a risk when I was younger and always told myself that I never wanted to work corporate world. I graduated high school but I never went to college. I always knew school wasn’t for me and I didn’t like the fact that I had to go pay a lot of money to find a job that I never wanted to be in. So instead of going to college like all my friends I took the risk to jump into my own world of business and it started from there.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
My name is Jordan Turner, I am 28 years old, I own four companies, I have an amazing son and an amazing fiancé that I am so excited and very honored to share this life with. I have been able to work with some of the biggest companies in the world and travel quite a bit creating endless memories and endless content for myself. I have been fortunate enough to own companies that are doing very well that a lot of people tend to support and I have some of the greatest community of followers, fans, and endless support from my family and loved ones. What sets me apart from others is that any time I have an idea no matter how big or how small it is I tend to execute on it and do my best to try to make it come alive. I have the ability to be very good at executing under pressure and I am blessed enough to know that I believe in myself enough that I don’t let the insecurities of others dictate my decisions.
We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
One of the biggest lessons in my business career that I’ve had to unlearn is being scared. Letting the fear get to me was only holding me back in life and letting others opinions on what I wanted to do with something that I always knew from a young age that I didn’t want to dictate my life. It took a very long time especially from my close friends and family but eventually I became very comfortable in my own skin and started paving my own way.

Can you talk to us about how your funded your business?
I don’t do things The normal way like getting a loan or having people invest in my companies. I have learned that money is oxygen and the only way that I’m going to elevate my business or treat and other businesses if I have the money to fund it. I try not to spend any kind of money on things that I don’t need whether it’s a luxury items or once but I only invest in things I need. I have learned that we live in a world where everything is materialistic and yet sometimes I do buy fun stuff I tend to live very poorly so that way I can always invest back into my businesses as much as I can .
