We recently connected with Jordan Roche and have shared our conversation below.

Jordan, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. How did you come up with the idea for your business?

I was a health coach for over a year after working through a LOT of my own physical & mental health problems. I had 7 bulging and herniated discs in my back, tendinitis in my wrists, migraines, anxiety, depression, bloating & constipation, sciatic pain and so much more. At 25 years old I was on 5-9 medications a day depending on where we stopped along my journey. I was very excited to make the switch to a plant based diet and get off ALL of those medications. I started decreasing my inflammation naturally. After I worked through my own ailments, I made it my mission to help others with their health problems. Now, I have been focusing solely on mental health because I think that is one of the bigger problems and harder to overcome. I started focusing on my own Christian values more and wanted to bring them into my business. So, now I have a podcast on YouTube – Be Kind to Future You: Now & Forever – where I post a new episode weekly. Now, I help women overcome their anxiety through faith in the Lord, developing their relationship with Him all while living a healthier lifestyle. I have NEVER been more at peace among worldly suffering and it is all thanks to Him.

Jordan, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

I provide long term one-on-one coaching and group coaching to help women defeat their anxiety once & for all with faith in the Lord Jesus. I am so proud to help women develop their own personal self respect and stop settling for men that treat them horribly because we desire love and look for it in all the wrong places. I had to learn to develop that myself and I have never been happier. I think my past sets me apart from other coaches in the field. I have struggled my entire life with addiction and searching for love in worldly men that did not care about my inner beauty. I have come SUCH a long way with my own personal growth and I’m so excited to share that with other women. I am 100% sober and SO happy living single as I follow God’s path for me. That’s why I just launched Be Kind to Future U-niversity! It is an online faith-based coaching program designed to create a better future for my clients. Clients can purchase a full year enrollment with ALL the courses available in the program OR clients can purchase credits and enroll to specific courses that they struggle with, i.e. nutrition, self worth, relationships, sobriety and so many more.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?

I had to unlearn the trend of self care and self love. I believe it is SO important to feel confident in your own skin and love yourself as God loves you, but starting with how you look is not the key to confidence. I got so consumed in vanity and dressing provocatively that when I look back at photos, I feel bad for the girl I was. I was clearly giving away more of myself than I ever should have. I wanted attention and love, but was getting it the wrong way. I wanted to find love because that is what most of us want, but I was looking for the fast track – as most of us do in our instantaneous society. I know what I want my future love life to look like and it does not involve focusing on what I look like. It involves a deep, loving connection between two people who help each other grow and who see what’s on the inside.

Can you talk to us about how your funded your business?

As I started my business I knew I wanted to help people. For a long time I’ve struggled with my finances as I built a business from the ground up. I was blessed to have multiple streams of small incomes along the way. I actually sold my blood plasma for a while to the point where I was getting scars on my arms. I decided that I didn’t want to continue literally draining myself for money so I got more creative. I have worked with multiple companies with online marketing and working for friends as they start their businesses too. I’m very grateful for every little opportunity I have had along the way, but I’m very excited to focus solely on generating income in this new season as I narrow down my niche to what God has called me to do.
