Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jordan Perry. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Jordan thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. To kick things off, we’d love to hear about things you or your brand do that diverge from the industry standard
As a small business owner I love being able to dive into the data/metrics with my clients and help them see wins and areas for improvements in their business as their marketing partner. A lot of digital ad buyers will more so set it and forget it with ads, but I am ALL in with my clients every step of the way, cheering them on. We look at traffic, how long people are staying on their site, what converts, what doesn’t and make very smart, data-driven decisions and THEN we put fuel on the fire with paid advertising.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
I have been an entrepreneur from a young age. I sold mistletoe door to door in elementary school and even bought snacks to resell to construction crews who were working on houses in my neighborhood!
Before going out on my own and founding LAUNCH, I worked for Chick-fil-A in Marketing, handled the social media for one of Johns Hopkins Medicine’s children’s hospitals, and bought ads for the national non-profit that Tony Dungy (Super Bowl winning football coach) is the spokesman of.
When I worked in corporate America I always consulted on the side, I just loved it so much. I finally made the leap in November of 2020 to go full time, and I haven’t looked back!
I’m the most proud of the results I’ve helped my clients get. We’ve had 10K launches, 100K launches, and even 500K launches! Some clients don’t necessarily “launch”, but we constantly sell- we grow their email list with lead generation and then sell through their funnel.
Regardless of the results, the best part is knowing I’m helping great people provide for others and their families. It’s the good stuff!
Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
I keep in touch with my clients via Slack, email, and monthly meetings. I do have a client I’m lucky to have in person here in Alpharetta, so I go to their office too… it’s great! My clients know that I want them to win. If they win, I win. I have a high retention rate with my clients because they know I get on the same side of the table and I’m incredibly for them… and it shows in their results!
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
In 2021 Apple decided to make it so users had to opt in to being tracked for ads. A LOT of people opted out. Like, a lot. There was a time where I could either cave because a. my job was going to get extremely more difficult or b. I could play the long game, stay the course and learn from it… and I stayed. I’m better for staying and 2+ years later I’m sure glad I did!
