Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jordan Lee. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Jordan , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?
For as long as I can remember I’ve been very passion/purpose driven, As a kid if I was interested in something it completely took over and I was obsessed. As an adult I spent a few years here and a few years there doing jobs that brought me no satisfaction. The last few years before I started my business I stayed because they had good benefits and I have a young family, providing for my family did bring me satisfaction but i kept asking myself, why can’t i do both ? Provide and Passion. Dogs have always been a subject that i had a lot of interest in. Dogs, their behavior and the psychology that drives that behavior as well as the unique relationship that humans share with Canis Familiaris and how far that relationship goes back has fascinated me for many years.
Today I’m proud to say that i have attained both, i can provide while following my passion and helping members of my community to understand, communicate better and ultimately have a better, stress free relationship with there 4 legged family members.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
My name is Jordan, I’m 32 yrs old and grew up mainly around Northwest Arkansas. I’m married with one son (3yrs) My clients hire me as a guide into the World of dog training, their hiring me to assist them into understanding their dog better, not to just fix negative behavior. I help them to understand why their dog is doing the behavior and what their doing as the owner to escalate the issues. Then we develop a plan to fix the behaviors and keep them at bay. The proudest part of my job is that we are literally saving dogs, we believe that most dogs are in shelters today because of behaviors that were exacerbated by human error. So with our mission of teaching the public we are keeping dogs out of the shelter or going back.

How’d you meet your business partner?
I met my business partner Ryan Mathew’s on social media. It really was interesting and i still don’t fully understand how it happened and the timing of it. I really believe that i manifested this through pure intention and thought. I had spent a couple years obsessing about being a trainer, business owner and trying to make it work in my head. One day I received a message from Ryan and he simply said “ Hello my name is Ryan Mathew’s and I’m a celebrity dog trainer, i was looking at your facebook page and it looks like you have a passion for dogs. Do you have time to talk sometime soon ?” Next thing ya know i was studying the material and getting ready to start school to become a certified dog trainer. I’d like to add, i think its really cool that my first week of hands on training was done at “Liver Kings” ranch outside of Houston Tx. So because of Ryan i got to explore a “celebrity’s property at the beginning of my hands on experience.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
Get paid for your skill set not your time… getting paid for my time was a trap, if i was ever going to break free from the pay check to pay check weekly grind and level up i was going to have to get paid for my skill set not my Time. Its definitely a bonus to have a skill set that’s a passion driven journey.
