We recently connected with Jordan Kammer and have shared our conversation below.
Jordan, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?
At a young age I fell in love with professional wrestling. During my early childhood my mom and I would always go to shows, and if we weren’t at shows I would be watching pro wrestling every-night on tv. Once I hit high school I fell out of love with professional wrestling because it “wasn’t cool”. I would keep up with what was happening but I would never go out of my way to talk about it or wear any apparel that represented wrestling. After high school I was given an opportunity to work with a company that did autograph signings and during those signings I started to fall in love with the idea of working with talent. I met a gentleman that worked with talent and booked them throughout the midwest who impacted my life. Seeing this gentleman work and how he took care of his talent started to make me think if I could ever do this. I truly believe if it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t be where I am today. August of 2023 I decided to dabble in the professional wrestling, I learned from two phenomenal trainers and realized shortly after that it wasn’t for me. I transitioned from a wrestler to a manager. Someone who accompanies the professional wrestler to the ring. During this process I realized my wrestling personality would be an “agent” who would be a bad guy by charging fans to high five the wrestler. Shortly after I secured my first client in December of 2023 and after I realized I needed to work 10x harder than anyone else because of my age. I was looked at as a young kid who didn’t know the business and wasn’t someone who was not taken seriously. For the last 10 months I have acquired multiple talent and have found success in the industry. I offer a unique opportunity with the clients or the companies I work with and I feel that it makes my company so special. I try and build a unique relationship with the talent and I try to build a relationship with any company I work with. I feel that if the talent are being taken care of then I should take care of the companies and I strive to provide a unique opportunity to companies and their fans!

Jordan, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I have been on both sides of the business the vendor side and the representation side, which is something not a-lot of people have done. I provide talent an opportunity to make money outside of their profession through autograph signings, podcasts, extra bookings, charity work and more. Within my first 10 months of building up my management company I have acquired some of the most notable names in Professional wrestling. I am most proud of the fact that I followed through with a dream of mine, I took a chance on myself and took a chance on something I cared about. I successfully achieved so many personal goals of mine. I was doubted throughout most of the process and was told it would never work, there is so much competition and so much negativity that is within this industry and I try to stay away from it. I feel if we can all succeed and build each other up while doing it then why shouldn’t we? Life is too short to hold people down, if we can help someone achieve a goal then we should and if we can’t then at least we tried.
What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
Personally building my clientele was the hardest part. I am a young entrepreneur and I didn’t have the resume that the other companies had. Some companies have the big athletes or the most famous ones and that didn’t matter to me, what mattered to me was doing business with genuine people. My first client was former NWA Tag Team champion Missa Kate and she was the one who opened a lot of doors for me. I was able to get her into the biggest conventions and I started to connect with other talent managers which helped me to connect with other talent. After acquiring Missa I met a gentleman who owns his own talent management group and he gave me some great advice and he didn’t have to take the time and help me but he did and that is exactly the people I want to surround myself with!

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
I believe the best source of obtaining new clients is just making connections. There’s talent that I have known for 5+ years and I am now working with them. I believe if it is meant to be it’ll be. I don’t rush acquiring new clients because I want to grow my reputation and grow a working a relationship with each client that I work with to where they are taken care of and satisfied with my work. I look at it from the clients point of you, if I am not making them money then why would they want to work with me. I believe taking care of clients will help grow a business no matter what kind of business you are. Reputation goes a long way in this industry and I strive to keep a positive reputation with everyone
