Choosing the name ‘Glamorize Cosmetics’ was a heartfelt tribute to my beloved granny, the original glamour girl in my life. Growing up, she gave me the nickame ‘Glamour Girl’ because I was a little prissy diva. My fascination with makeup started early, inspired by her love for orange lipstick and the classic Maybelline mascara.
When she left us, I felt a deep responsibility to keep her glamour legacy alive. Naming my cosmetic line ‘Glamorize’ is my way of carrying forward the spark she ignited in me. Every lipstick shade, every product is a nod to her impeccable style and unwavering confidence. My goal is simple: to share the glamour that she sparked in me and to remind women worldwide that they, too, possess that inner glamour, it’s waiting to shine.
So, every time you indulge in a touch of Glamorize, you’re not just glamming up; you’re igniting your confidence and becoming that glamorous woman inside. She was, and forever will be, the original glamour girl in my heart and the inspiration behind Glamorize Cosmetics.

Growing up, I was fascinated by lip glosses. I remember having each flavor of the roll-on lip glosses in my little purses. Even as a kid, I knew I had a love for makeup, but it wasn’t until a moment at my vanity, surrounded by over 60 lipsticks yet unable to find the perfect shade, that the idea of creating my own cosmetic line sparked.
Fast forward to today, Glamorize Cosmetics stands proud with 25 lip products, 2 contour and highlighter palettes, and 2 eyelash trios. The journey doesn’t stop here; my ultimate goal is to offer a full line of cosmetics. What sets my products apart is the mindful creation for women of color, ensuring top-notch quality and long-lasting wear for a luxurious experience at an affordable price.
In my products, I aim to solve the problem of forgetting one’s inherent beauty. Glamorize releases the inner beauty and confidence of every woman who wears it. What I’m most proud of is witnessing the growth of Glamorize, seeing women from various states adorn themselves with my products, feeling bold and beautiful. It’s a testament to the impact Glamorize has on empowering women.
To my followers and potential clients, I want them to know that they are already glamorous; they need only remember and release it because the world is ready to receive it. Glamorize isn’t just about makeup; it’s a celebration of confidence, beauty, and the boldness within each of us!
Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
The best source of new clients for Glamorize Cosmetics has been through vending events and in-person showcases. Connecting with women face-to-face allows me to personally demonstrate the transformative power of Glamorize products. Many women are hesitant to try new colors, but being there in person enables me to provide personalized guidance, helping them match shades to their complexion. Witnessing the immediate boost in their confidence as they walk away feeling bold and beautiful in Glamorize has been not just a business success but a rewarding and empowering experience
What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
Early on in my journey with Glamorize Cosmetics, the significant lesson I had to unlearn was the notion that all women were my target audience. Initially, I was driven by the desire to cater to every woman, embracing a broad and diverse market. However, through experience and thoughtful reflection, I realized that my brand had a more profound impact on a specific group.
The backstory to this realization is rooted in recognizing that Glamorize isn’t just about makeup; it’s a celebration of confidence, inner beauty, and self-love. I had to unlearn the idea of targeting a generic ‘women who wear makeup’ category and instead refocus on a more nuanced audience. This shift allowed me to refine my messaging, products, and overall brand identity to resonate more deeply with women who are not just looking for makeup but seeking a transformative experience that goes beyond the surface.
