We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Jordan Green a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Jordan, appreciate you joining us today. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?
The idea for Remble was born out of frustration and a desire to make mental health support more accessible. As a therapist, I sat with people every day who were struggling not just with their mental health, but with the overwhelming barriers to getting the help they needed. Therapy was expensive. Waitlists were long. Stigma kept many from even trying. And beyond that, I saw the limits of one-on-one therapy – there were only so many hours in a day, only so many people I could help directly.
At the same time, something unexpected was happening. I had started sharing mental health insights on Instagram, and the account quickly grew to 250,000 followers. My DMs were flooded with messages from people all over the world, desperate for support. They were asking, What can I do if I can’t afford therapy? Where can I turn when I need help right now?
It became clear to me that people needed real tools – practical, accessible, therapist-created guidance they could use in their everyday lives. And no one was really meeting that need on-demand at scale.
That’s when I knew this idea had to become something bigger. I started building a team of top tech and mental health professionals who shared the same mission: to reduce suffering and make mental health support available to anyone, anywhere.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I’m passionate about helping people create happier, healthier relationships – both with others and with themselves. My journey into this work began after earning my Master’s in Social Work. I spent several years providing individual, couples, and family therapy at an outpatient counseling agency, where I witnessed firsthand how deeply people longed for healing, connection, understanding, and emotional well-being.
But I also saw the barriers – therapy was often expensive, inaccessible, or stigmatized. I wanted to reach more people, not just those who could make it into a therapy office. That’s when I started The Love Therapist on Instagram, sharing daily education, inspiration, and tools to help people navigate love, relationships, and personal growth. The response was overwhelming, and the community quickly grew.
That experience led me to build Remble, a mental health app designed to provide on-demand, low-cost, 24/7 support – giving people access to the guidance they need anytime, anywhere. In addition to Remble, I periodically offer online workshops and courses, helping people deepen their relationships and strengthen emotional intimacy in practical, accessible ways. I also recently published the Relationship Appreciation Journal, a tool to help couples cultivate more gratitude and connection.
What sets my work apart is the blend of deep psychological insight with real-world, actionable tools. I believe relationships – whether romantic, familial, or with ourselves – are the foundation of a fulfilling life, and my mission is to help people nurture and strengthen those connections.
Looking ahead, I’m in the early stages of building an exciting new project called School of Relationship Arts. At the heart of everything I do is a simple goal: to make healing, growth, and transformation more accessible so that more people can experience the love and connection they truly deserve.
Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
I started my social media account, The Love Therapist, as a creative outlet and a way to reach more people with the insights I was learning as a therapist. I had an authentic desire to help people build healthier relationships – with themselves and others – and social media felt like an accessible way to do that.
From the very beginning, I focused on creating content that was educational, informative, helpful, and shareable. My goal wasn’t just to get likes, but to offer real value, content that people would want to save and come back to or share with others. In fact, many of my posts receive more saves and shares than likes, which tells me that people find them genuinely useful.
One of the biggest factors in building my audience was consistency. I posted every single day for over two years. That kind of consistency helped me stay visible and relevant, and it also gave me a chance to refine my voice and messaging over time.
Another key decision I made was to keep my content focused purely on education and support. I’ve never accepted advertisements or partnerships. My goal has always been to provide value, not to market to my audience. I think that integrity and clarity of purpose have helped build trust with my followers.
For those just starting to grow their presence on social media, my biggest advice is:
* Have a clear focus. Pick a niche or area of expertise and stick to it so your audience knows what to expect from you.
* Prioritize value. Make content that educates, inspires, or supports people in a real way. The more useful your content is, the more people will engage with and share it.
* Be consistent. Show up regularly, whether that’s daily or a few times a week, so people can rely on you as a steady source of insight.
* Build relationships. Social media isn’t just about posting, it’s also about connecting. I’ve collaborated with other therapists and educators, which has been a great way to support one another, expand our reach, and not feel so alone in this work.
Ultimately, I built my audience by staying focused on my mission to help people. That clarity and consistency are what helped me grow, and it’s what continues to guide my work today.
Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
The best source of new clients for me has been social media. Through my Instagram account, The Love Therapist, I’ve been able to reach and connect with people who are actively seeking support, education, and tools to improve their relationships and emotional well-being. Because my content is designed to be valuable, shareable, and actionable, it naturally attracts people who resonate with my approach and want to work with me more deeply.
For Remble, particularly in securing enterprise clients and partnerships, the best sources have been attending conferences and networking. Being present in industry spaces, having meaningful conversations, and building relationships with leaders in mental health and wellness have played a crucial role in expanding Remble’s reach. Many of our partnerships have come from those face-to-face interactions, where we could directly showcase the impact and value of our platform.
Ultimately, whether through social media or networking, the key has been creating genuine connections, showing up consistently, and providing real value – whether through content, conversations, or collaborations.
