We were lucky to catch up with Jordan Attarian recently and have shared our conversation below.

Jordan, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.

I spent my whole life being amazed and enamored with all forms of art, it always felt like the images spoke deeply to me through colors and symbols. Eventually I discovered my first tarot deck and my love expanded into the world of metaphysics. In that moment, I knew in my heart and soul that I had found the path for me in this world. Over many years I have collected an abundance decks, even created many of my own decks, connected to countless people and relayed countless messages of healing to others. Creating my business Violet Imagery was the biggest step in my journey so far and the level of success and happiness it has brought me is proof that I am exactly where I was always meant to be.

Jordan, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

Hello beautiful souls, my name is Jordan Attarian, I am a trained Master Hypnotist, and have studied the art of Intuitive Card Reading for 20 years, the power of astrology for a decade, and have lifetimes worth of healing as my soul purpose!

I run a Spiritual based business called Violet Imagery where our motto is Learn, Grow, Evolve. We thrive to create easy to understand yet powerful life changing tools such as our unique self drawn and produced tarot and oracle decks, in depth workbooks that magnify self-development on all levels, classes and interactive workshops that expand knowledge in astrology, tarot, and shadow work, and much more to come.

Using my expertise and natural abilities, I offer a wide variety of services such as intuitive card readings, astrology reports, and hypnosis sessions. All services are geared towards optimizing your life path and integrating all parts of your whole being. These heavily channeled messages and sessions will validate deep soul truths, uncover and heal internal wounds, and set the record straight with a direct yet loving energy.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?

While my business Violet Imagery has the mission to heal and guide others, my own personal goal as an endless vessel of creativity is to create as many unique decks as I can for the rest of my life and go down in history as a legend in the metaphysical world.

In 2019, I released my very first tarot deck “Through the Violet Veil”. It was a process that took almost 3 full years and probably an entire box of color pencils but I had never been so proud of myself or my art. That journey awoken a part of me that never wants to rest again.

The second deck I produced was “Be A House” which is an oracle deck based on creating a home within yourself, because you don’t move over a leaky sink or a broken window, you take time and love to fix it.

The third deck I produced was more on the educational side of things and is titled “Astrology Made Easy”. The whole point was to create a tool where people could learn a complex subject in little bite size pieces while also learning about themselves and uncovering their own universal blueprint in the stars.

The fourth deck is a 5 year anniversary version of the original tarot deck newly titled “Beyond the Violet Veil”. With a digital remastery, new vibrant coloring, and bigger than ever card size, this deck truly shows the growth I experienced over the years.

Deck 5 & 6 are currently in the works! And I can’t wait to unveil them to the world with the rest of my decks! So stay tuned to all the magic Violet Imagery has to offer for many years to come.

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?

I originally started my healing career as a Massage Therapist. I was doing readings on the side but it was far from a main focus in my business. Life has a funny way of forcing you to refocus your energy to where it needs to be.

Less than 2 years into my Massage career, I was in a car accident that I was beyond blessed to walk away from with as little injuries as I had, but the physical strain of trying to heal while still using my body for massage was out of the question. I had to find another path way for career.

Over the next year I studied to become a Hypnotherapist and graduated with honors. In school I learned a lot about cognitive therapy which uses creative journaling and drawing prompts to reconnect the conscious and subconscious mind so people can learn how to be more introspective with their healing.

By this time I had created my first deck “Through the Violet Veil” but it was missing something and this new education gave me the perfect inspiration to elevate my decks with incredibly in depth guidebooks that also doubled as self-development and shadow workbooks.

I had learned how to heal the body, then the mind, and to bring it all into focus, I learned how to heal the spirit. Everything happens for a reason, all you have to do is trust the process, yourself, and the universe to pivot you into the exact direction you are meant to go in.
