We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Jordan Anderson. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Jordan below.
Jordan , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
**“Sincerely Yours is more than just fashion — it’s a message for the underdog. The mission behind the brand comes from a very real place. It’s for the people who were told they’d never amount to anything. The ones who were overlooked, counted out, or made to feel like they weren’t enough.
This brand is our response to that. Instead of being loud or cocky about who we are, we let the clothes — the art — speak for us. That’s why it’s called Sincerely Yours. It’s our way of signing off on our truth, our growth, and our creativity. We don’t have to scream our names. We just leave our mark.
Fashion is the medium, but the mission is personal. Every piece we drop is a quiet statement: ‘I’m still here. I’m still becoming. And I’m doing it with purpose.’
That’s why Sincerely Yours exists — to give the overlooked a way to stand tall, express themselves, and wear their story with pride.”**

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I’m Andrew LaPrade, born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama. I grew up in Catholic school my entire life, christened at just two weeks old, and raised in a diverse and creative environment. From an early age, I was drawn to art — cartoons, movies, music — anything expressive. I didn’t realize it then, but I was being shaped by storytelling in all its forms.
My clothing brand, Sincerely Yours, found me back in 2012. It was born from a feeling I had carried most of my life — being told I was ‘too creative,’ that the music I liked wasn’t ‘Black enough,’ or being made fun of for how I spoke. People looked at me and saw a stereotype — a “dumb athlete,” just the little brother of someone more recognized, someone they thought had no real talent or identity of his own.
That fire lit something in me. I wanted to show people there was more to me than what they assumed. So I started building this brand behind closed doors — quietly, intentionally. Sincerely Yours didn’t go public until 2017. At first, I thought the brand was just about proving people wrong. But about a year in, I realized that I wasn’t alone in feeling overlooked or misunderstood. There were others like me — other artists, dreamers, and underdogs who just needed to see that becoming something was possible.
That’s when it hit me: this wasn’t just about me. This brand became my letter to fashion — and to every person who’s ever been told they wouldn’t amount to anything.
Through Sincerely Yours, I design clothing that speaks without having to shout. We provide storytelling through fashion — clothes that feel like identity, that represent quiet strength and creativity. Our pieces aren’t just stylish, they carry meaning. They’re worn by people who know they’ve been counted out, but choose to keep showing up.
What sets us apart is that sincerity. We don’t chase trends — we write stories. Every design, every release, is intentional. I’m proud of that. I’m proud of how personal this journey has been.
For anyone getting to know me or the brand, I want you to know this: Sincerely Yours is for the misfits, the quiet creatives, the ones who were told ‘no’ but decided to move anyway. This is our chance to respond — not with ego, not with noise — but with purpose, art, and identity. And we sign it… sincerely yours.”

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
**The most effective way we’ve built our clientele has been completely organic — or as I like to say, straight out the mud. Our social media presence wasn’t bought or boosted; it’s grown from real-life connections, face-to-face moments at events, word of mouth, and staying true to who we are.
We’ve worked hard to build a brand rooted in good character, integrity, and authenticity. People connect with that. So our growth has come from sharing original art and storytelling that feels real — and letting that resonate both online and in person. Social media has played a major role, but it’s our consistency and sincerity that have kept our clientele growing.”**

Do you sell on your site, or do you use a platform like Amazon, Etsy, Cratejoy, etc?
**We primarily sell online through our official website: www.sincerelyyoursstore.com. One of the biggest pros of using our own site is that it allows us to easily manage orders, track shipments, and provide a streamlined experience for our customers.
One of the challenges we’ve faced, especially early on, was that some customers preferred using alternative payment methods like Cash App or direct messages. While we understood the convenience of that for some, we’ve made the decision to move forward with all orders being placed strictly through our website. It helps us stay organized, maintain quality control, and ensures everyone gets the service they deserve.”**
