We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Jools Sinclair. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Jools below.
Jools, appreciate you joining us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
I started writing about the afterlife long ago, when I was in elementary school. I remember one story in particular, back in 4th grade. I wrote about a woman who wakes up in an unfamiliar bed, then gets up and starts walking around an unfamiliar house. Guess what? She soon finds out she is… dead!
Back then, in the 1970s, this wasn’t such a common theme for stories, especially from a kid. But this has been a thread that’s run through my whole life – an awareness that the world we see is only part of our story. I’ve always felt – and seen – the presence of the spirit world, and now I’ve learned how to communicate with it regularly.
I didn’t set out to become a spirit guide. I just followed that thread over the decades – through my fictional stories and books, my ghost tour business in Bend, Oregon, and my Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique practice (where I guide people through a few of their past lives and then to their higher self). I followed the thread, using a receptive mind and my intuition. And over time, I saw that this invisible world wasn’t just guiding me – it was inviting me to help others see it, too.
Across 20 books – fiction and nonfiction – I’ve written to help people open their hearts, reconnect with their inner wisdom, and trust that they are connected to something greater.
I believe that we are entering into an important era – a time that has the potential to be humanity’s greatest chapter. If you are willing to do the inner work of opening your heart and the outer work of noticing all the beauty that’s around you, you’ll get your ticket in.
And as you do this, you will begin to remember who you really are:: an eternal, powerful spiritual being – growing, expanding, and evolving in a magnificent universe.
My mission, in my work and business and personal life, is simple:
To help people see and to help them to remember.
Jools, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Hi, I’m Jools. I’m an author, teacher, storyteller, spirit guide. I’ve written over 20 books, including Forty-Four, a bestselling fictional series about a young woman who drowns in a mountain lake and wakes up from death. I consider myself a guide to the spirit world, leading adventurers to other realities through stories, QHHT sessions, past life regression workshops, automatic writing, 5D journaling classes, See the Beauty classes, and spirit tours. I have a fierce passion for helping people remember who they truly are: eternal, powerful spiritual beings – learning, expanding, and evolving in a magnificent universe.
I have a B.A. from UCLA and a Masters in Teaching from Pacific University. I live in both Bend, Oregon and Tucson, Arizona and offer online workshops and classes and in-person events.
I feel both honored and humbled to do this work – helping people connect to their Higher Self and inner wisdom. When that connection is made, they begin to receive guidance, find peace, and often heal from old wounds – even from physical conditions.
As a result, something extraordinary happens: their hearts open wide, overflowing with love for their life and most everything in it.
Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
One of the biggest lessons I’ve had to unlearn is the idea that I’m supposed to see or know the impact of my work in the moment – that it has to look a certain way to be meaningful or successful.
I offer QHHT (Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique) sessions, and most of them are nothing short of magical. People dive into past lives in ancient civilizations, on other planets, in other dimensions. I’ve had clients relive lifetimes where they were burned at the stake, and even those intense moments transform into something beautiful when we reach higher learning and connect with their Higher Selves. These sessions are deeply moving – not just for them, but for me too.
But then there was this one session…
From the start, this client had a hard time. She couldn’t access a past life, kept saying she wasn’t seeing anything, and stayed very much in her left-brain – analytical, critical. We pushed through and got to the part of the session where I guide clients to connect with their Higher Self. That’s the heart of a QHHT session. But five minutes in, she sat up, opened her eyes, and said, “Redo. Redo. This isn’t working.” And then she left – abruptly, without much debrief. It felt like a complete failure.
I replayed that session in my head for hours afterward. What did I do wrong? Why didn’t it work? Was it a waste of time?
And then – eight months later – she came back.
She told me that despite how it looked, something in that first session had shifted. It planted a seed. She had grown, softened, opened. She’d done inner work on her own and was now ready for more. And the second session? It was incredible. She connected with her Higher Self, asked her questions, and received healing.
That experience taught me something huge: I can’t expect to see the results. I can only show up, do my absolute best, and then let go. People grow in ways I might never witness. Everyone is on their own timeline. And even when it looks like nothing is happening – something sacred might be unfolding beneath the surface.
Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
Hands down, word of mouth. When someone has a powerful experience – whether it’s in a session, a workshop, or a class – they often feel compelled to share it. Whether they’ve connected with their Higher Self, received deep healing, or glimpsed a past life, something shifts in them. That kind of organic, heart-led referral is gold. It means the work is landing. It’s real. It’s alive. And it’s transformational.
Social media and my online presence do help – especially now, as more people are waking up and looking for deeper, more authentic ways to heal. But nothing compares to someone saying, “You have to experience a QHHT session with Jools,” or “You need to read this book,” or “This class changed something in me.”
I also love doing interviews like this. Not only do I get to connect with a fellow writer, but interviews offer a ripple effect – they reach people I may never meet otherwise, people who are ready to begin their own inner journey.
In the end, all of it weaves together — sessions, books, classes, conversations. It’s an ecosystem of healing and awakening, and I trust that the people who are meant to find it, do.
